madelinerose
Hello, I recently had an issue with a seller. He had sent a list of one word requirements to do my gig. Unfortunately, he did not define the meaning of those words to someone who does not understand computer or internet terminology. He then asked to cancel my gig. I refused, and a discussion ensued. Fortunately, I was finally able to get my point across and he agreed that he does need to put in a definition so that people who are unfamiliar with the terminology understand what is being asked of them.We were able to resolve it, but for all other sellers, please don’t make the same mistake. You only have to write your requirements once, and then they are listed in the emails you send out to all gig purchasers. It requires two minutes of you time initially (maybe a bit longer), and from then on you don’t need to feel frustrated by purchasers who don’t supply you with what you ask for. It’s up to you to help them understand what you need from them, it’s not up to them to read you mind.
