New Fiverr Level Feature and How it has Affected ME

How am I going to start the orders?

Recently a client of mine placed a new order and forgot to add requirements, due to the fact that we already discussed the job at hand. Fiverr now have this link below any new order that says “I have all I need, start the order” (something of that nature).

Please note: am not saying we should do anything wrong here, you can check your old inactive orders, if the option is there, then click on the link and deliver what you have on your gig, this may eventually bring back the client and get the job done and get you paid.

Same had two orders canceled that were incomplete…my gig dropped a whole page. This is simply wrong. Somone should Pin this post so it catches attention cause with the new updates rolling out in Jan this is just gonna end up negatively affecting everyone.

Exactly my point bro! This forum is meant for us to share the wrongs we experience on fiverr every other day. I see sellers getting booted for every thing that happens on fiverr… 99% of these issues are caused by either the buyer or the fiverr system.

So unfair! 😦

I could do that on the last three incomplete orders but the rest have no way to start them.

I will just leave them alone.

Why are you making assumptions bro? where is it in Fiverr’s TOS that if a buyer places an order on a gig and you delivered what was promised on your gig and you wait for the buyer to seek for revisions, you will be banned? kindly show me. Thanks

Im not your brother. and Im not making assumptions. you do what you suggested and I will not need to show you anything as you will be banned.

seems you’re getting angry off what’s not. I wasn’t talking to you and this is a forum where we are allowed to share our thoughts. I don’t need you to be my brother and I have never said anything that will get any account banned. Thanks for your advice.

Don’t worry, the moon is in funny phase at the moment and people are feeling all huffed up. I think it is clear that you will not be being banned since you did the right thing off your own back from the start and likely only made the ‘let’s start orders ourselves’ comment in jest which hasn’t been interpreted this way.

I did the same but after 3 months the guy decides to show up, complete the ordering process and then sends me a “don’t want anymore” message with a cancellation request which I argued - a lot to no avail.

yes this. I’ve had people place orders and then change their mind after they have placed the order for whatever reason, even after providing all the information in conversation. You need to be careful here because there is nothing stopping the buyer from contacting support and stating they did not fill out the order details, or start the order, after you deliver it. You then have a cancellation on your hands as well and if the buyer goes into rage mode with support its not going to end well.

Been on fiverr since 2014… Got married, built my own house and started living the laptop lifestyle from my fiverr earnings.

Then 2 months ago fiverr bought the “Available Now Feature” and I was not able to use that because some buyers (up to 8) placed orders since 2015 and never added their requests, so the orders were pending for over 1 year.

I messaged Fiverr CS and was told that I have to cancel the orders myself if I want them to go away so that I can start using the “Available Now” feature.

After a lot of argument with the fiverr CS, I was assured that the cancellations will not affect my business as there are GOOD and BAD cancellations.

But all hell broke lose as I cancelled and my Orders completed dropped from 100% to 72% because of these useless orders that I have absolutely no power over!

Now the only RED line I have on my account is that BLASTED “Order Completed” as it is on 79% and it has even affected my placement on the site as sales have dropped badly because of this issue!

And from the look of things, they have this RED exclamation mark saying my account is in a BAD SHAPE!

It’s very SAD that we should have such experience here on fiverr after years of dedicating one’s energy and expertise into serving the site, the community and building a great life here!

Fiverr CS should always be able to solve sellers problems when the need arises and stop saying they “CAN’T DO ANYTHING” just to make the seller sad and depressed!

I write this with pain in my heart… and I hope one of the CS guys will see and read this.

So Painful… I need a positive action to be taken to rectify this… I’ve already qualified to be assessed for TRS since last year… Now this little issue is threatening my LEVEL 2 badge!

So disheartening!

LOL…

you are worried you drop down to 72%?

me??? 32% but it didn’t affected my sales

buyer keep coming and coming…

just keep the buyer rating good 100%

i maintain 95% and now it’s 96% because of 1 star.

I’m sorry to say this but this might actually be a good way to test a few things. First, the exact same thing happened to me last year. I asked if canceling non-starting orders would have an effect and CS said no. But they did!

Now, here’s the thing. Cancelled orders kill sales, especially if you have a lot happen suddenly like this. Moreover, what I have noticed is that fewer sales lead to thigs like orders completed and delivered on time rates dropping further because there are fewer delivered orders overall over a 60-day period.

Are you noticing this? Is your orders completed rate continuing to drop despite no further cancelations?

How did the CS respond after you told them that the cancellations DID in fact affect your completion rate?

I haven’t contacted them since actually. I don’t care to have second conversations with people who have a past history of lying directly to my face. Who’s to say they won’t do it a second time?

I can relate to this. I’ve had 2 orders pending with incomplete requirements. I thought cancelling them would not affect my order completion since the buyer did not provide any info. I mean it is not our fault. We are in good faith. BUT wow, after cancelling them, my order completion rate dropped and I am very far in the search ranking. So disheartening. It is hard to accept because the cancellation is not my fault. I’ve been messaging the buyer about the order but I’ve got no response that’s why I decided to cancel them on my end. Been working in Fiverr for 3 years now and it’s discouraging.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It’s so sad that we sellers are always at the receiving end of all negative features the fiverr system has. But we’ll survive because we’re pros! 🙂
