  1. @vickiespencer, my success score isnt much better than his, but I think his communication skills are the least of his problems. If you dig deep enough, you will find out what I mean.
  2. The very bad Fiverr Earnings fell off a cliff. Got demoted to level 2 for some reason. Never asked. Can I recover from this? Maybe. In view of this, I don’t think its appropriate for me to be posting here or handing out advice when I’m not in a position to, and that’s why I stopped. Annus horribilis for so many, many reasons Bad Scaled back (stopped) helping other people as I have spent too much time helping others to the detriment of my business. Received plenty of insults from other people (many sellers who don’t post here who I have helped a lot) after the above. I was really shocked. I decided to pull the plug. Stopped: Semi-formal coaching at my daughter’s university on freelancing and working for yourself. Did this for a long time. No affiliate signup nonsense. Stopped. I was (am) sponsoring a university student (luckily, they are now in their final year) and was asked to help with another. had to pull the plug partially on the second person as earnings fell dramatically. It’s really hard to put across how many seriously intelligent people cannot go to university for financial reasons. It was quite shocking to listen to stories about remortgaging houses and having to take second and third jobs to put children through university. Related to this, was put in touch with, by a very circuitous route, very influential & and generationally wealthy individuals. I was surprised they even talked to me. There was a palpable shock when I told them what I did/do. There was an amusing aside to this when I was asked which department of a university I was sponsoring… The upside: I was given really, really good advice and help. Many are very friendly, very ethical, and have a great deal of empathy. The very Good spent time working with my sister-in-law. She’s incredibly intelligent and smart. She was awarded an OBE recently and is chairperson of many great institutions & trusts. Anyone trying to poke their nose here will not uncover anything. She uses her maiden name. The good. Found this cat when she was three weeks old while out running. I run between 5k and 10k every day in the back of Beyond. Have had some very hairy experiences. Had to feed her through a syringe for a few days. Spends a lot of time on my desk doing things she should not be doing. Still helping: expats. There is a huge demographic where I am, and in other countries, there are seriously talented people looking for something further to do. People bring them to me occasionally. I don’t shove Fiverr in people's faces and don’t shove affiliate links under their noses (Ive never given anyone an affiliate link.I don't expect to, or want to get paid for helping people). I show people how it works and let them make their own decisions. AI… When I speak to people about AI, I start with a couple of things. Don’t be Kodak. We all know the story of Kodak and how they buried the digital camera, which they invented, because it would destroy their current business model. Instead, everyone else released it, and their business got destroyed anyway. First to market doesn’t mean first to succeed, but it gives you a very good head start. There is another thing here as well. Don’t be Nokia, either. They saw the writing on the wall and just sat there saying, “Everything is fine” (room-burning meme) as Samsung and Apple ate them for breakfast.. Don’t be a luddite. I wish you all success. Even people filling my Fiverr inbox with this Merry xmas everyone
  3. Google will not remove content. The only content that qualifies is here https://support.google.com/websearch/troubleshooter/3111061?hl=en That screenshot that person sent is an edited version of another page on Google. Its is 100% fake and unfortunately, many people are doing this nonsense. Google will not remove "bad articles" and certainly not say they will remove any content in 20 days, even if it qualifies. The only way to get content removed is with a DMCA takedown or by pushing the content down the search results with reputation management.
Delete the cache on your browser and close and open again the browser. I have had this before where the text is deleted as soon as its typed. I have also had problems where I have typed out the whole description and it just disappeared as well when saved. I suggest you put your gig description into a word document first and then copy and paste it into the description box so you do not lose anything when then save it. Also, the wording in the description box is literal. the word "concert" is a literal translation from English to French for the word "gig". it would have probably been better to use a word like "service".
  5. @vickieito my condolences to you & your children.
  6. I spoke to this guy before he posted here. I told him he needed permission from Fiverr to ask sellers to fill in surveys etc. He stated he had already contacted Fiverr and was told to post on forum @hasanhessi. If you were told by Fiverr what you told me, you would need to provide evidence of it. You can't just post links on the forum or contact sellers to click this link, or it will be removed (it has been). It could be malware.
  7. congratulations @filipdevaere you deserve it. I went in the opposite direction
  8. @kushh_verma people will be rude because they are bombarded with this nonsense constantly and are fed up with it. Here are examples, and it is incessant. #1 Please, sir, send me 200$. I need to feed my family. #2 Dear send me some of your orders. You have too many. Give me. #3 I need an order. order me #4, please give me an order ( from a person with no gigs) #5 I have spare kidney. If you need, please contact me. it is against the TOS and community standards here https://www.fiverr.com/community/standards/integrity-authenticity which you agreed to when you signed up. The person you contacted blocked you. it does not mean they reported you, but if they had any sense they did, along with everyone else you spammed.
  9. I think you need to look a bit closer to home. Some of your gigs have typos, and the image gallery on some of your gigs has outside contact information and phone numbers for what appears to be your site. Most of what you are providing can now be done with ChatGPT, and providing skip-tracking services will cause issues with this https://www.fiverr.com/community/standards/prohibited-services as this is sharing personal data for individuals and not companies.
  10. @seo_itexpert39, the majority of your reviews have got VVRO written all over them. They are using the same buying patterns. It's painfully obvious. You have also sent different people reports for the same sites and probably one person left an honest review. No prizes for guessing who that was.
  11. Most of these tools are now ineffective. Someone did a test with the US Constitution and it came back as 92% AI-generated.
  12. Please don't give them ideas. Please. "Sir, I massage you, but you give me no order" No happy ending there. Sorry.
  13. Here is the new English test What is the correct way to say "Fiverr" in English? A) Fiverr B) Fiber C) cereal D) Let me ask chatgpt What is the correct way to say "thank you" in English? A) tip B) order me now C) thank you D) Bye What is the correct way to say "I don't understand" in English? A) No England speaking B) I understand C) please order me D) I don't understand Choose the sentence or sentences that use a comma correctly. Choose all correct answers A) To be successful on Fiverr you need to speak English and offer quality services. B) To be successful on Fiverr you need to speak English, and offer quality services. C) To be successful on Fiverr you need to use Chatgpt and, offer quality services. D) To be successful on Fiverr you need to message as many other sellers as possible to give you their orders. Which of the following sentences uses a gerund phrase correctly? a) "I like reading books in my free time." b) "unlimited revisions are my favorite activity." c) "why does no one knock me." d) "How do I rank my gigs fast."
  14. When you are a student doing research, it can be tough to get any meaningful data, been there & no one wants to help, but they're going about it the wrong way. I doubt it is for an individual thesis (or dissertation), but if it is, their supervisor also has questions to answer. They have provided no proof of who they are and could be anyone. They could be other sellers just trying to get information, from another platform looking for data, or even from the media looking to see how people use Fiverr for AI. They should have contacted Fiverr and asked first. They could have approached hundreds of sellers like this & I don't think they, Fiverr, will be too happy being a data collection platform for any third party.
  15. I find this very hard to believe. So much for the English language test.
  16. It's putting sellers in a difficult position. This can be construed as outside contact, as it's not even to do with a potential order. Before anyone from the university goes down this route, I suggest getting permission from Fiverr to do this, and the first step I would take is to contact support. they may say it's not allowed. Sellers will not want to be in a position where the calls start to move into areas asking questions that can cause issues for them and zoom calls are supposed to be with potential customers. If anyone from the university wants to do this, they need to get permission from Fiverr. not go around contacting individual sellers. i was contacted about this, and I offered this as a solution, and it was declined because the interview has to be recorded and they wanted to do a Zoom call. I don't think any seller will be comfortable with this as its not for an order or a potential order.
  17. You don't need an MA in marketing to see the problems here. Freebies??? You need to tell users what you are providing and I don't think you want to be giving them freebies. On one of your gigs, you have what looks like someone's high school admission test in the gallery Have you been doing academic work for users?? This is not ghostwriting and not allowed on Fiverr. On one of your gigs, your package is called lithium. I think you had better look up what lithium is used for, or was, as a medication. Under your educational achievements, there are glaring spelling mistakes that will make people think twice about using your services.
  18. I think you may need to reconsider this.. unless you really want your gig to go ding-dong.
  19. @junaidfaheem007 staying online doesn't rank anything. That's obvious nonsense. I'm more perplexed by something else. I see you have a gig for rewriting website content. It says the gig is 100% pilgrim free. Are these pilgrims from the Mayflower or other types of pilgrims who have sneaked their way into the content?
  20. if it's the profile photo he is going to get into trouble. if it's the gig image then it's probably going to be ok but his English is pretty bad (even though he said he's fluent) and it's possible he means the profile from the wording.
  21. you will get a warning or get banned https://www.fiverr.com/community/standards/integrity-authenticity
  22. Reptiles are a diverse group of animals that have been around for over 300 million years. They have evolved from amphibians, and their ancestors were once fully aquatic creatures. Over time, reptiles adapted to live on land, and they developed a number of features that helped them to survive in this new environment. One of the most important adaptations that reptiles made was the development of scales. Scales are hard, protective coverings that help to protect reptiles from predators. They also help to regulate body temperature, which is important for reptiles because they are ectotherms, meaning that they cannot generate their own heat. Another important adaptation that reptiles made was the development of lungs. Lungs allow reptiles to breathe air, which is essential for life on land. Reptiles also have a four-chambered heart, which is more efficient than the two-chambered heart of amphibians. This allows reptiles to circulate blood more effectively, which provides them with more energy. Reptiles have also evolved a number of other features that help them to survive on land. For example, they have developed claws that help them to dig and climb. They have also developed eyes that are better adapted to seeing in the dark. Reptile evolution is a fascinating topic, and it is clear that these animals have adapted to life on land very well. If you are interested in learning more about reptile evolution, I encourage you to do some research. There are many resources available online and in libraries. Now here is the important part. Did you know that mek sells on Fiverr are actually just reptiles in disguise? That's right, those not so friendly, not so helpful people you've been working with are actually just cold-blooded lizards who are out to steal your money. Don't believe me? Just look at the evidence. Mek sells are always cold to the touch. They have scales instead of skin. And they never blink, except when caught buying reviews. Of course, mek sells are very good at hiding their true nature. They'll act like they're interested in your project, and they'll even give you a good deal. But once you hand over your money, they'll disappear without a trace. So if you're thinking about hiring a mek sell, be warned. You might just be getting scammed by a reptile.
  23. in some respects Bard is a lot more accurate than chatgpt. here: Is resveratrol a zinc-ionophore? Resveratrol is a polyphenol found in red wine, grapes, and some berries. It is a natural compound that has been shown to have a number of health benefits, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer effects. Resveratrol is not a zinc-ionophore. A zinc-ionophore is a substance that helps zinc to cross cell membranes. This is important because zinc is an essential mineral that is required for many bodily functions, including immune function, wound healing, and DNA synthesis. Resveratrol does not appear to have any direct effect on zinc uptake by cells. However, it is possible that resveratrol could indirectly increase zinc levels in the body by increasing the absorption of zinc from food or by decreasing the excretion of zinc in the urine. More research is needed to determine whether resveratrol can actually increase zinc levels in the body and whether this has any health benefits.
  24. whats the betting they are either all going to provide links to the company website or multiple people will provide the exact same proof.
  25. if there is a metric and they don't want to tell you how to address it, they might as well change the name from the buyer satisfaction rate to the Fiverr satisfaction rate. There is a difference between protecting the algorithm and having everyone working in the dark. I don't see how anyone is going to benefit from this. Sellers are getting upset, and some are already voting with their feet. Fiver staff will be upset with sellers attacking them for this, and the customers who are supposed to benefit from this arent because sellers don't know what they are supposed to do. What will happen when sellers stop accepting orders from first-time buyers under any pretext they can find? Are first-time buyers going to have to deal only with mek sells? This is really going to result in unsatisfied buyers but this is the direction sellers are being pushed in for fear of getting on the wrong side of hidden metrics. Instead of sellers focusing on their business and their gigs and their customers, they are going to be focusing on picking and choosing who they work with to avoid getting on the wrong side of any metrics. Hidden or otherwise. There really needs to be some transparency here.
