Nervous about increasing my prices 😬

I’ve been thinking a lot recently about increasing my prices. Having a low price was great when I was starting out, but now that I have some experience, I feel like I’m not charging enough for my time and skill.

I’m nervous because if I raise the price of my Basic Package, I’m essentially doubling the cost since I can only raise it by $5 increments. I could reduce the number of words I’ll edit in the packages, but I stupidly included the number of words in my gig title when I first created it, so now that’s in the URL. I worry that people would be confused as to why the URL says I’ll edit 1,500 words, but the package only covers 1,000 words.

I’d love some thoughts and opinions on what I should do here.

Give it a try and see - if your orders stay above half of what you were earning before, you get out ahead. If they fall, revert back.

Don’t Do it!!! Just wait till Fiverr is more stable. I raised the price of one of my gigs and it literally disappeared in search. Having a talk with CS about it…the chance of it being normal again are pretty low.
