  1. Hello Fiverr Community, I recently encountered a situation on Fiverr that I believe warrants discussion and caution among fellow freelancers. I want to share my experience to raise awareness and potentially prevent others from facing similar challenges. I recently completed an order for a CRO audit. The client, an agency, did not specify that the order was on behalf of their client. The transaction seemed routine, with the client expressing satisfaction upon delivery. However, to my surprise, I received a disproportionately harsh review from them. What's concerning is that as a seller, I am unable to modify my review after seeing the client's feedback. Meanwhile, buyers have the freedom to adjust their ratings, creating an imbalance in the review system. In this specific case, I provided a "good experience" 5-star rating based on the assumption of receiving positive feedback in return. Over 500 reviews on my profile, I only have 3 reviews at 3/5 so it doesn't happen very often. However, the subsequent review was unexpectedly negative, leaving me feeling unfairly rated. This experience raises important questions about the fairness and transparency of the review process on Fiverr. Shouldn't sellers have the same opportunity as buyers to adjust their ratings, especially in cases of unjust feedback? I urge fellow freelancers to exercise caution and consider the potential risks when dealing with clients, particularly agencies representing third parties. Communication and clarity upfront are essential to avoid misunderstandings that could lead to unfair ratings. I wish I could change my review to flag the seller account and avoid to other freelancers a bad experience similar to mine... but it's not possible... Additionally, I'm concerned that while buyers can modify their ratings, as a seller, I always fear providing a low rating and consequently upsetting the client, leading them to change the rating to a lower one. I welcome your thoughts and experiences on this matter. Let's work together to ensure a fair and supportive environment for all members of the Fiverr community. Best regards, Alexis
  2. Account warnings Is finish this warning after 90 days? Your account has been flagged for a severe violation of Fiverr policies As a result, you are not able to participate in the level system. I read this article on fiverr policies, anyone can help with this matter? A user may receive a warning for breaching Fiverr’s policies, or any reported misconduct. The warning will be sent to the email address linked to the account. Warnings educate users about our policies in an effort to reduce potential future violations. They expire after 90 days. Warnings do not limit account activity, but they can affect a freelancer’s status in the level system. Read more about your level with Fiverr's new level system. Having more than one warning might lead to account permanent suspension.
  3. I was a level 2 seller but after cancellation my level went down to a new seller and my success score is 4. Even I received 3 orders after cancellation but the success score is not affected and does not increase. Please can someone tell me how I can increase my score. Thanks a lot!
  4. I am not getting any brief from fiverr get brief, how can I solve this??
  5. Hi there, I had 3 gigs, No gig is pending, paused, or drafted. Now I deleted 1 gig and trying to create a new one but it's saying you can create a maximum of 4 gigs.
  6. Because of this bad experience, I thought today I was going to receive a bad review because the client told me he wanted to redo the whole project (a form project), change all the Q&As and was waiting for the team feedback. Still, today the client surprisingly accepted and left a review. I then wrongly rated the buyer to alert the miscommunication, two week delay, and no feedback. Turns out I received a 5 star review. I have contacted Client Support and in 5 minutes, I was able to change my review to the buyer from 1 to 4 and change the comment review. Amazing, from bad to good, it's super easy to change the review. From good to bad, it's impossible...
  7. Preparing your Fiverr Profile Description (and, if you would like, an accompanying video) might seem intimidating at first, but there’s good news! Introducing yourself to potential customers is an important part of building a presence on Fiverr. Your profile description and Intro Video have a similar goal—to give potential Buyers a sense of who you are—not only what you can do. This is a significant opportunity to set yourself apart from the competition and project confidence in your ability to meet the Buyer’s needs. You won’t simply list your qualifications but discuss your success—why people love your work and how much you enjoy delivering a quality job to your Buyers. You may have many competitors on Fiverr with similar experiences, but only some will welcome Buyers and make sure they feel comfortable about spending their hard-earned money. Putting that extra effort into your profile can make a difference in converting a shopper into a Buyer. Likewise, creating a short video introduction can also have a major impact on your sales. While you may initially feel hesitant about looking into a camera and “trying to talk naturally,” here are a few pointers to keep in mind. 1. Don’t make your introduction too long or too complicated. Instead, keep your video under a minute and focus on a simple outline: A greeting, a short description, and an expression of why you love doing what you do. 2. Be upbeat. A smile and a good tone can go a long way to make Buyers feel welcome to your Gig and start connecting with you to be the expert that they will choose. Be conversational—in other words, speak as if you’re introducing yourself to a new friend. You’re not making a speech. Instead, you’re telling a story. 3. Be conversational—in other words, speak as if you’re introducing yourself to a new friend. You’re not making a speech. Instead, you’re telling a story. If you’re uncomfortable, practice telling a friend about your Fiverr account. While it may seem unusual, the key to appearing comfortable on camera is to remember that you’re talking to a person. So look at the camera—but don’t talk into it—always speak to the Buyer. Buyers love to see samples of previous work so you can include some samples of previous work in the background of the video as you speak. A similar format can be followed for the Gig’s Videos which can increase your conversion especially with business Buyers that will often want to get to know more about the Seller before placing an order. 8. My Fiverr account all gigs success score is 4. I have 203 total reviews. I got a minimum of 10 to 15 orders all with 5 stars and clients were happy. But my gig scores are not increasing. What can I do now?
  9. A couple of my gigs often do not get a public score from buyers, as I believe that such gigs are readily available works that it's easier to purchase and deliver. They just buy them and forget about it, although I send at least one follow up message to make sure that they are okay with their purchase, and ask if they have any questions. In such case, what happens to the scoring of such gigs? Does anyone know? Thanks for your kind advice. 😉
  10. I want to change the username of my fiver account, but is it possible to do it?
  11. I am beginning to doubt that I am actually able to have any influence on my own success score. Since the new level system went live I've had 18 orders, 3 buyers did not leave reviews, and the other 15 buyers left 5-star reviews. In total, I have 202 5-star reviews. I have gotten three 4.7 star reviews and have NEVER gotten less than that. So I pretty much get 5-star reviews 99.9% of the time. Fiverr claims that my Success Score is a Level 6 and I need to improve "communication" and "client satisfaction". I see other Sellers in the same field as me with 4.9 star ratings and they're level 2 sellers, while I sit stuck in back in level 1 seller ever since the rules changed. Please don't reply to this thread with some generic "buyers leave feedback that is unknown" or "the score is determined by a number of different factors" comment. I need some kind of tangible explanation. How on earth does all my success on this platform determine me to be a Level 6? And why is it that buyers are seemingly loving my work but there's somehow this unknown aspect they don't tell me? It doesn't make any sense. And I've seen the affects of this. I just can't make money on this platform like I used to. Before the changes, if I worked hard and stayed available, I could get more and more messages, buyers, etc. Now it's up and down constantly. The attached image shows exactly what I mean. I am consistent in 5-star reviews, happy customers, and repeat buyers. But somehow my Gig performance is the exact opposite of consistent. So what do I have to do? How many buyers have to be satisfied until this algorithm determining my Success Score agrees? I am at a complete loss. I have a day job and have worked tirelessly for two years, up to 60 hours a week sometimes to sustain this side job. I saw nothing less than continued growth on this platform until the rules changed and suddenly everything was pulled out from under me. Before the change I could make $2k/mo if I stayed available for the whole month and that number was continuing to go up. Now I am lucky if I can sniff $1k in a month. This is having a real life impact on my life. I thought I had actually managed to find a way to make money doing what I love. Now I'm questioning everything. I am having to rethink my entire life because I no longer have sustainable income. My day job keeps me paycheck to paycheck and Fiverr used to be my way to have an actual savings or have money for emergencies. I don't know how else to say it but this just isn't fair. I am at a loss. Please help. How can I improve my success score?
  12. I wanted to hire a ghostwriter and a level 1 seller with a couple of positive reviews and picture and the name of a lady turned out to be a dude during the Zoom call. Plus the heavy accent. ID verification would tackle a lot of prevalent issues. So yes, please make ID verification mandatory for all sellers. Not saying that it can't be circumvented, but still, there should be some mechanism in place to tackle sellers who claim they are who they're not.
  13. Hello, welcome to my Profile. I have two questions. Number One- I have just one gig on my Fiverr profile. But I want to change my gig Image, Is that any problem? And Number Two - I am using a Microsoft browser, I need to change this browser and I want to use Chrome browser. It's very comfortable for me. so, is that an issue?
  14. 1. Respond to the review: Politely and professionally address the client's concerns, reiterating that the premium plugin license was not part of the initial agreement. This shows potential clients that you're proactive and committed to customer satisfaction. 2. Focus on excellent service: Continue delivering high-quality work and exceeding client expectations. This will lead to more positive reviews, helping to balance out the negative one. 3. Encourage satisfied clients to leave reviews: Reach out to happy clients and politely ask them to share their experiences. This will help increase your overall rating. 4. Optimize your gig: Ensure your gig description, keywords, and tags are accurate and clear, minimizing potential miscommunications. 5. Offer exceptional customer service: Go above and beyond for your clients, building trust and loyalty. 6. Consider offering a premium service: Provide an upsell option for clients who want additional services like plugin licenses, increasing your earnings potential. 7. Don't stress about a 4.4-star rating: While it's not perfect, a 4.4-star rating is still respectable and demonstrates your commitment to quality. Remember, one negative review doesn't define your entire service. Focus on continuous improvement, and with time, your rating will recover. Good luck!
  15. Can I share a link to my portfolio (behance) in a gig description or message?
  16. This is what the help says (https://www.fiverr.com/seller/levels) I assume that should mean it should change within 24 hours. If it doesn't you could check with CS/staff.
  17. i wanted to ask for what can be done when someone didn't find is gig on search again, i've re-editted my account change all tags, gig title, profile description and gig image itself but nothing till now. Please help me on this
  18. Any warning or alert about the client was sent to me BEFORE I saw the bad client review. Now that I see the behavior, I wish I could alert other sellers. When I have a new buyer, I generally watch the previous reviews from sellers on his profile. I wish I could alert on this profile but it is not possible.
  19. For a new seller on Fiverr, creating attractive gigs that showcase your skills is crucial. Pricing competitively can help draw in your first clients, while delivering exceptional customer service is key to building positive reviews and establishing trust. Maintain an active presence on the platform, staying responsive to messages and orders, to solidify your reputation and encourage repeat business.
  20. Hello, recently, my response rate has increased to 3 hours from 1 hour. I'm considering setting up an auto-reply on my account because most of the messages that come in late at night remain unanswered for a long time, sometimes 8-9 hours, which affects my response rate. However, I feel that setting up an auto-reply sometimes seems unprofessional. Additionally, a few buyers send their requirements in multiple messages, like 2-3 or even 3-4 messages, and setting up an auto-reply might discourage them from messaging further. I worry this could negatively impact the client's experience. Should we still set up an auto-reply on our account? Also, sometimes I'm online or it's daytime when I may not want the buyer to receive an auto-reply, but the system will still send one. Should sellers set up an auto-reply or not?
  21. Create appealing gigs showcasing your skills. Provide top-notch customer service for positive reviews. Promote your gigs Stay active and responsive for a good reputation.
  22. Is it after 90 days flagged will be removed or not? anyone can help me? I am reading this article about policies, here is an indicator that will be removed after 90 days, "A user may receive a warning for breaching Fiverr’s policies, or any reported misconduct. The warning will be sent to the email address linked to the account. Warnings educate users about our policies in an effort to reduce potential future violations. They expire after 90 days. Warnings do not limit account activity, but they can affect a freelancer’s status in the level system. Read more about your level with Fiverr's new level system. Having more than one warning might lead to account permanent suspension."
  23. Then that might be the reason and the used laptop too. Also, it's useless to tag all the Fiverr Staff here when they are gonna tell you the same thing i.e. Fiverr Support regarding your account related issue as they are the ones who can resolve them. Your issue is gonna be resolved here on the Forum. So avoid tagging them here. Also, it's been 2 months then it means Fiverr's decision is final and your flagged account issue is not gonna be resolved ever! Sorry to say this!
  24. Ever had a buyer send you a message, asking for a LARGE discount - simply because they've got "more work for you in the future". This might sound great, but there's no guarantee they're place multiple orders with you. Even with the subscription offering on Fiverr - they can back out at any time. I once heard a great tip, so feel free to use this if someone offers this to you: Respond with: "Sure, I can do discounted pricing for repeated orders. The first order will be my standard rate - but the second and third orders will be 5% and 10% discount respectively, and 10% thereafter". This way - you're offering a discount for repeat orders, but not risking the client placing one order and ghosting you!
