  1. Since you've clearly communicated to her that the revisions have been exhausted, there's really nothing you can do. You can reach out to the support team and they might help you explain it to the buyer how revisions work.
  2. By completing orders & getting good reviews.
  3. Probably a bug. Have noticed this as well.
  4. You need to add these specific skills on your profile. Not just “web design” You’d see a little green tick mark next to it. ✅
  5. Accept the review, respond to the review by mentioning what happened. Bad reviews happen. Not sure support can do much about it.
  6. Common sense is a useful tool. But some quick red flags for you to watch out for: They want you to provide them a "sample" before placing an order They want you to contact them on other platforms. They're impolite. They have vague instructions. They have bad reviews as a buyer.
  7. Why don't you try and set up a video call with the buyer on fiverr? Sometimes, it's just that they have trouble articulating what they'd like to revise. You can also tell them how revisions work etc. This has saved me a couple of times.
  8. You'd only be able to find Adobe Photoshop, HTML & CSS under "Web Design". There just aren't a lot of tests available right now.
  9. Having done both, I can tell you that freelancing definitely affords more autonomy than traditional 9 to 5 Jobs. But then, in order to succeed and make a full-time living as a Freelancer, you need to wear a lot of hats. You should have the ability to put yourself on a schedule, constantly keep yourself updated, learn how to communicate effectively with clients, etc. I don't think the more skilled freelancers worry less about metrics because everyone gets difficult clients, periods when algo is not in your favour etc but you just need to know how to deal with it. It matters how you respond to a negative review, how you learn new things on your field - Essentially how well you bounce back. Also, I feel like in a traditional job setting, you're a cog in the wheel. That could get a little discouraging when you don't know what you're working towards 8 hours a day, everyday. But as a freelancer, you know exactly what you're supposed to do. I cannot tell you how freeing that is. 🙃
  10. Thanks I guess? I think I made it clear that I knew it was subjective but I just needed different perspectives. 🤔
  11. Thanks, this actually does help a lot! Yes, I do small revisions and don't count them as revisions when I've misinterpreted their requirements. But I've also made complete rebuild/redesigns before because I had left "revisions" ambiguous and some buyers tend to take advantage of that. I guess I should try mentioning "Minor tweaks" explicitly while providing them with the offer and charge them extra for anything major. Hopefully that makes it better!
  12. I don't think you will experience any negative consequences. Go ahead and pause it, if it's not working out for you!
  13. Thank you for your input! I always thought 3 revisions meant 3 minor changes. But if it means "round" of revisions, then I think I might have to start charging for revisions 😕
  14. There's no "process". Fiverr occasionally gives out temporary badges to sellers who are consistently doing well. Deliver high-quality work consistently & you might just get it!
  15. Hi guys! So I was wondering what counts as revisions? I understand that this is subject to change based on the service you offer but I just wanted to get different perspectives on this. I usually get buyers who are very specific about the changes they need but I also get buyers who do not understand what revisions mean and just end up asking for more work than what was agreed upon. How do you deal with this? Say my revision limit is 3. Is this a complete overhaul of the work 3 times or 3 specific changes? Thanks in advance for your input! 💫
