  2. Hi Victoria,

    Yes, give it a try, you can opt out whenever you choose. You will be able to talk about your concerns directly with a professional Fiverr's manager, analyze your performances and, eventually, get your services back on track.

    Good luck! ✌️

    I can confirm 🥴 But eventually we find peace 😂

  4. Hi, there is a very precise list of which kind of links we can share with our clients: you can find more information here in the forum or on the Fiverr Help Center. My suggestion is to add your portfolio directly into your Fiverr’s gig page through video, images, description & FAQ.

  5. Hi!

    First things first, yes @hur_developer, as @vickieito wrote to you in the first place, it's a beta feature that eventually will be added to a larger audience 🤞
    I think it's a fantastic idea and it's perfect for my business on Fiverr since I'm using my brand logo for my profile's image. With this feature, when a buyer land to my page, my logo disappear for a few seconds and this magic happens:

    intro_video_demo_trombonhero_fiverr

    After that, the logo returns to its place and if you pass with the mouse over the profile image the intro video comes back: it works like a story.
    And what a fancy border! 🤩

    ***

    About @vickieito request: well, you're too kind, thank you! I'm glad that all those countless hours spent talking alone have done some fruit 🤣

    So, how to be comfortable in front of a camera? You can't! That's it. I mean, if you look at the attached screenshot, you see no reflections on my glasses; you could think "wow, that's great!" but for me it was more like "I can't move an inch of my whole body or I'll get glares on my glasses" xD
    Find your path through the right words and if they are your words (composed and/or re arranged by you) it will be much easier. I'm not the best guy here to ask for video recordings tips (I'm a session musician after all) but remember that you are acting and playing all the time: don't be afraid to act!
    You said that I look comfortable in front of the camera but that it's not totally right: I'm comfortable doing that very short video that I've planned to do for a very long time. You wouldn't say that I'm comfortable if I was dancing in front of the camera 🕺😁

    Enjoy, showcase yourself or/and the brand that you want to be and get sincere feedback from different people 📸

  6. Hi @mariyam_tayyaba,

    I was thinking about the same thing but it seems that the amounts inside the "Order's Page" are misleading us: we can get the right ones under "My Business/Earnings".

    In conclusion, as @vickieito said, when you offer the coupon Fiverr will deduct the usual 20% out of the discounted price: it's not more than 20%.

    7 hours ago, mariyam_tayyaba said:

    Means 40% amount was deducted?

    It's 20% of the discounted price. And, in the end, we are choosing to do it. ✌️

    Do you know the reason for this?

    Go for Briefs, it has replaced Buyer Requests. You can find multiple info here in the forum (search tab 🔎) and on Fiverr Help.

  8. Hi @cinnalea!

    which they stated that they won't do until the order that i'm doing right now is done

    Did you try to ask to "Extend the delivery date" (you can find the link under the "Delivery Now" button in your order's page).

    3 hours ago, cinnalea said:

    they ordered again without messaging me first [...] and ordered 4 more at the same time, all of them being particularly complex to do, reason why i prefer to receive a message to know if i can do it and if have the time etc.

    This is an online marketplace after all, we should be happy to receive orders at any time 😁 However, everything depends on the service that you're providing and the business plan that you're running. So, if you've decided to assure to your customers a fast delivery (i.e. in order to have a more competitive service) but you can't assure more than 1 (for example) order at a time, here is a useful solution from Fiverr:

    1. Go to My Business and select Gigs;
    2. Click on the gig's title;
    3. Enable "Limit orders in queue".
    Quote

    Using this feature allows you to control the number of orders you can receive. Once the limit you set is reached, your Gig will temporarily be removed from Fiverr’s search. Disabling this feature returns your Gig to Fiverr’s search (approximately 15 minutes later). - Fiverr

    You can find more information on Fiverr Help.

    Enjoy your work!

  9. Hi @lisadianern1!

    I faced this same situation a few orders ago, when a customer purchased a trombone recording session directly from my gig's page overpaying for the service (buying more seconds than necessary).
    After having expressed my concerns, he got back the difference (the overpaid amount) as a discount on the next order.
    Of course, we both agreed with this solution: I think that speaking clearly is a great way to build trust and to create strong relationships with your customers.

    Do you think that this could be helpful for you too?
    I'm curious to know how it will turn out!😁

    Best,

    Michele

  10. Hi there!
    I had my first order on Fiverr a long time ago, more or less two month after publishing the service. As @melanielm said, it was a $5 gig for me too:
    a trombone recording session for an acoustic/folk kinda song. I remember that I was amazed: I had my first Customer, from Japan!
    It was incredible at that time, I was there looking at the screen like "is this really happening?".
    Lucky for me, there wasn't that much competition in that sub-category and my first customers were very kind and professional.
    Eventually, I ended up with some good reviews but I decided somewhen to pause my services, both for financial and motivational purposes.
    And that was the end of the story...

    ... since I've planned to do it. The right way. I've studied (and I'm not talking just about my skills as a trombone player), I've researched, I've filled the holes and I've started the business with my own rules. There is no more "lucky me" this time. It's more like: Hey, let's work together! 😁

    Oh! While answering your question I've got back that trombone recording session, the one from the very first order: as I said, I was very lucky to encounter very kind and professional Customers back there 😳Comparing it to what I'm doing now, it sounds like two different lives to me:
    On the one hand, a professional musician who is trying some sort of new tool. On the other hand, a professional seller who is delivering quality services.

    Enjoy!

    I have already enabled the buyer brief feature and read the news in the forum.

    Awesome! ✌️

    But still, I am worried about this buyer brief feature.

    There are lots of concerns about this topic and I suppose it's good to be worried about our business, it's our duty to be worried about it, isn't it?
    However, I'm sure that Fiverr has done multiple researches and has come to this conclusion after checking all of the possible outcomes:
    it's about their business after all and they are worried about it as much as we are about ours.

    If last year I invited you home, we ate a very good steak and we had a great time together, can you blame me (and question our relationship) because this time I have proposed to you a more traditional pasta and chickpeas, because in the meantime I've become a vegetarian? 🍲
    Yes, you can of course, but let's stick to the plan: to keep our business on the run! 😁

    In my Buyer Requests, the manage notification is there, but when I click it: the Seller Plus tab opens.

    That's right! That button brings us to our Seller Plus dashboard.

    1 hour ago, ayesha_rehman99 said:

    Is the buyer briefs only limited to Seller Plus? Or something else?

    Buyer Briefs are not limited to Seller Plus. It was limited to a few select sellers (Fiverr Help) but since this feature is replacing Buyer Requests (you can find all the news in the Forum!) I don't know if they are gradually implementing it to all the sellers.
    However, to verify if you have this feature and to manage it, you can follow this path (Web page):

    1. Login;
    2. On the top of the page, click on My Business;
    3. Select Gigs;
    4. On the top right of the page you should see Get briefs;
    5. You can enable/disable the feature and set your rate.

    Best,

    Michele

    When you had a long break…

    … I’ve crossed my fingers🤞

    I wouldn’t suggest you to open a new account: it’s more likely that buyers will see us through our gigs and through the quality of our services.

    Since it’s been a long time: get updates, refresh your gigs and start with your brand new look. Fiverr will love it 😁

  15. Hi everyone!
    While playing around, I end up sleeping with different people and you know what? We snore. I actually don’t know if this just about us as musicians that we pretend to run the business even while sleeping but that’s it. And I hate it 😂

    I literally leave home scared about it (and single rooms while touring are like Buyer Requests these days xD).
    So, I needed to find a solution to aid sleep. Eventually, I’ve found it and it does not involve neither the 🐑 neither smooth vocals (unfortunately it doesn’t work against these noisy noses):

    I gently take out my headphones, put the smartphone (turn off notifications!) or the tablet on the bed and play any hard core punk rock music to get rid of those sinister spirits around the room (and inside my head eheh).

    This actually works for me, don’t know why, don’t know how, but I just open my eyes in the morning full relaxed, without any vengeful instincts (speaking of killers…) and ready to face the day 😁
