  1. Hi, It seems that the "Recording Length (in seconds)" tab of the basic package has been updated, and it's now possible to edit it as needed, above the previous 30-second limit. Cheers, Michele
  2. @zahir_is_here No need for suggestions. Fiverr is absolutely clear on this: keep all the messages on the platform.
  3. Every buyer is an authentic buyer. With this in mind, we focus on selling our services. When we're not sure about who is who, well, we are the buyers. 😁
  4. Also, make sure that your app notifications are working on your smartphone (settings) as well 😁
  5. That's good, Fiverr is preventing you that for safety reasons 😁
  6. Hi 👋 Is the buyer account still available (on Fiverr)?
  7. Me again 😁 It's not the same as the gallery's portfolio. I've just double checked it: WAV files appear on the live portfolio 👍
  8. Hi @jejopads, If the buyer unchecked the box while accepting the delivery, usually it means that the buyer doesn't want that sample to be shown. On the other hand, if you both agreed in advance and talked about that before delivering the order, you can send a message to the buyer through the Fiverr inbox (from the order page, if you don't have an open chat with the buyer yet) and ask for permission. Customer support can't help you with this... I mean, they can help you somehow but they can't get back your sample and they won't contact the buyer. It's just a longer process. No need to waste time on both sides. If you are 100% sure that you're not bothering your client and that you both talked about this before, send a kind message through the inbox asking permission to share a specific sample (attach it to the message).
  9. The customer needs to accept the delivery, to write a review, and to check "show the delivered work on my review". At the end of this chain, if we write the review as well, it will show as soon as we send it, or after a few days (if we don't). However, if the buyer doesn't write a review or unchecks the portfolio sample option, nothing will be added to our gig portfolio and we are not allowed to share any audio files without permission. Well, if I didn't receive any updates after I've delivered the files (it depends on different things, could be after a few days or a few hours), I would probably write a follow up to let the buyer know that I'm still available, and that can take all the time needed to review the delivered files. I don't suggest to send a notification just for "having a review". Tip: we can use YouTube links on our gig pages. If you don't have enough portfolio samples to share directly on Fiverr, select any songs (on YouTube) that showcase your talent and service, even if it's not released by you but it's related to you and to your gigs, and add that link where a potential buyer will see it. This way you've nothing to be worried, you're just sharing it. I've done this through all my gigs, with different YouTube playlists for each macro genre, and I maintain updated the playlists, adding songs as soon as a new release with me on the trombone is released.
  10. You're right 👍 However, if the customer doesn't allow it to be shared on our gig portfolio (while accepting the delivery), we need to ask for permission for sharing it. I'm working on the Music Business category as well, as a session musician (trombone, trumpet, brass recordings), and I also send the final delivery inside a .zip folder, plus an extra file ready to shine on the gig portfolio ^^ Tip: Instead of sending just an audio track as Portfolio Sample, I like to create a video file with that audio and a nice image. This way, when the client accepts it to be shown on your page, the gig portfolio will maintain your unique flavour and professional taste 😁✌️
  11. ✅ If the client approved that sample to be shown on your portfolio while accepting the delivery, you're good to go. ❌ If the client didn't approve that sample to be shown on your portfolio on the first place, you have to ask for permission. 12. Always use the "deliver" button on the order page or the countdown won't stop ⏳
  13. @krish_solutions Please, just call me Michele 😊 For the future, if you need a faster answer to your questions, you can also use the search box on top of the Forum. You will probably get the same answer in a shorter time ✌️
  14. Hi 👋 Don't communicate with them on Telegram. Fix an offer on Fiverr. Terms of Service: https://www.fiverr.com/legal-portal/legal-terms/terms-of-service
  15. ... and on top of that: "All prices that appear on Fiverr are based on their original US$ price" "since the only currency within the Fiverr system is US Dollars"
  16. Edit your gig, select Pricing and change the title of any extra added service that you are providing: make the title simple, don't use symbols, parenthesis, and do some try re-writing that. It should work! 🤞😁
  17. What kind of rejection are you getting?
  18. That's awesome, Casey, happy to have you here 🤩 I'm attending different Mixing & Mastering courses in these months: it's so cool to bring the tracks to life, so many options and tools, you can really push your creativity in there! Also, knowing professionally what's needed at the end of the (recording) process, it's helping me a lot in improving skills as a session musician (trombone player/brass recordings). Thanks for the opportunity to be in contact and feel free to message me anytime for anything related to trombones, trumpets and brass sections recordings or just to chat, I'd love to be involved with your production 🤗 Michele
  19. Hi @amaliamilitaru, I've just been notified by Fiverr to "Stay compliant with EU tax regulations" and now there is a new section under Earnings/Financial documents that is called "EU tax regulations". Check your financial document page, if it's not there, I'm pretty sure that they will update it in the next days (because we're subject to the European Union's DAC7 tax directive). Hope this helps 😁
  20. Hi Leanne, I'm sorry to hear that, sounds like a nightmare 😱 It's really strange that the file can be played back but can't be downloaded: If you and your customer can reproduce the audio online, it should be stored there somewhere! I hope that the Team will dig it and rescue your work from the deep web clutches sooner than soon🤞 --- Disclaimer: I don't know your working process and I'm not saying this to advise you; I'm just scared about it that much that I'm writing it down as a reminder to myself xD Don't touch the DAW session until the order has been accepted; Bounce the tracks to the highest quality; Clean the folder from all the recorded files except for the bounced once; Compress those files in one main .zip folder; Store the session on an external dedicated hard-disk.
  21. Ciao Luca! 😁 You can find so much information and tips through the "Search..." box. 3 things to start with: - Improve your profile description; - Improve your gigs descriptions; - Improve your gigs portfolio. 3 ways to achieve those things: - Become a good seller; - Purchase services from experts; - Start using the forum the right way, by searching! 😛 3 ways to start: - https://learn.fiverr.com/courses/online-freelancing-essentials-be-a-successful-fiverr-seller - https://learn.fiverr.com/courses/branding-strategy-and-design-for-small-businesses - https://learn.fiverr.com/courses/social-media-content-strategy Who is Luca Contini? Can I trust this guy? Is this seller/musician the right one for me? Oh, what about this other guitar player here, it looks cool, doesn't it? Let's compare these two... Don't monitor (just) your profile, there are hundreds of possibilities for a buyer out there. Build your niche!
  22. If the order has been purchased, we have the Zoom call option on our order chat. If the order has been purchased and for any reason related to that specific order we need to use Google Meet, yes we can. If the order has not been purchased and we have the opportunity to use the Zoom call option in our inbox, why not to? If the order has not been purchased and we have not the opportunity to use the Zoom call option in our inbox, we're not allowed to talk with Fiverr customers outside the platform (because that's what they are, Fiverr customers). Unless we are Pro Sellers, I suppose, that should have some extra bonuses. Did you often talk with Fiverr customers outside the platform before placing any order? And that's the reason why we're not allowed to do it, because Fiverr can't know what's going on that Google Meeting.
  23. Yes, there are 👇 https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011062838-Video-calls-Zoom-calls-
  24. It's possible that they are taking advantage of you. If that's not the case, and they are not able to extend the delivery time, and they are doing that just for extending the delivery time, and your good with it... Have you considered extending the delivery time on your own? Upon this, stay cool, explain easily to your customers how Fiverr works and how much they can benefit from the solution that you will propose to them. Fiverr takes care of us as sellers, but we must act accordingly.
  25. I got you. What about the gig samples? We've three different images and a video that we can use to showcase our works on top of our gig. It is also possible to include a link in our description, but it's important to check the Terms of Service to ensure that that specific website is included in the Fiverr list. (i.e. I'm working in the music business and I've a YouTube link on my description so that I can bring my customers to real song releases that otherwise I wouldn't be able to upload to my gig portfolio for copyright reasons). You're selling your skills and expertise. Is there a way to showcase your work and drive customers within your gig portfolio at the same time?
