  1. I don't really care about any of this, but I'm not happy about being lied to.

On my second gig, I had this person send me a script with nothing to proofread; because I'm a normal person and not a scammer, I asked for a cancellation - I was not going to charge them if there was nothing to work with. Did the usual blabla, CS said sure, and now I see this.

That was my only ever cancellation on that gig, so there's no doubt about it.

    Just a warning for everyone.

    please report those users

Hi Ana! Can I ask you to please pass along the message that we need the report button on the app? Whenever I get messages from scammers I can only block them because I read 99% of my messages on the app... I've been complaining about this forever. Thank you!

Plus, l think @zerlina84 had shared that - Fiverr's AI can't read non-english conversations and her SM told her to converse more in English to improve the 'negative impact pertaining to effective communication'!!

It wasn't me (I also remember that comment, though!), but I do have that problem with Negative Impact on Effective Communication + mostly writing in Portuguese with my clients. My SM had no idea what was wrong.

I've learned to live with it though lol I don't care anymore. I'm an 8 and that's how it is. Whatever. I'm not gonna waste my time fighting with a stupid AI machine.

Oh and a quite a few enquiries where they have clearly just copied and pasted the same thing to a bunch of sellers (how did I know? They addressed me by the WRONG NAME!)

Oh I get those all the time, it’s hilarious! Effort level -1 😂 I just ignore and reply like I didn’t notice the wrong name

  5. One thing the SS has helped me with, is deciding not to pay for Seller Plus Premium anymore until my 8 goes up. The only reason I paid for it was the supposed priority in TRS vetting, which will never happen with an 8.

I’ll just keep the cheaper Seller Plus. It sucks not being able to see the Premium forum, but that’s not worth $39.

So, NOW we ARE penalized if an order autocompletes, and no reviews are left?

If this is true, it’s pretty gross.

Out of everything they demand of us, the client accepting the order is definitely NOT something we can control, no matter how many follow up messages we send. And it doesn’t mean anything.

I have many repeat clients that leave it to autocomplete; if it were a sign of anything, they wouldn’t order again and again.

My Communication having a negative impact on my 8 SS is something not even my SM understands, and if it’s because of that it’s just pathetic.

I expect this also affects how impactful an auto-completed order is. If that same buyer buys again from you (or someone else) it maybe also negates the autocomplete impact to a degree. If that buyer always lets orders auto-complete it maybe also negates the impact to a degree. If they usually accept the delivery and rate and review, but don't with you then it probably has more impact.

I truly believe we overestimate the algorithm. I don’t think any machine is smart enough to have ALL that in consideration.

For example, I used to over analyze the Fiverr Choice badge, but when I lost it to someone who hadn’t delivered in weeks I realized it’s probably just buggy… like so many things on this site.

"Thank you for helping us train your replacement."

As a voiceover artist, I just LOVE when I get people trying to hire me to do AI stuff. Do you get them as well?

Sure, let me help you replace me in the future!

It’s really hard not to reply something that would get me a warning 😂

  8. @kubracorl I’m not surprised they won’t help you because it was indeed an outside scammer. But Fiverr should at THE VERY LEAST have a pop up for new users alerting them to these scams, just like my homebanking website does, for example.

I’m very sorry this has happened to you. Can’t you talk to your bank and tell them you were a victim of fraud and tell them you had all these unauthorized debits? Banks have a few rules about these things, but you might get lucky if they understand it was in fact fraud.

  9. These QR scams and fake Support messages have invaded Fiverr, Etsy and Vinted.

It’s absolutely embarrassing that these million dollar companies haven’t put a stop to it.

I’m also completely sick of those annoying scam telegram messages with the stupid fonts.

There is no excuse. They use AI for everything, how is AI not being used to protect us from HUGELY KNOWN scams?

This is basic anti fraud protection/cybersecurity. I wish they would focus more on protecting people against scams (and thus making Fiverr a better place) instead of coming up with 1000 ideas to force everyone to have less than 5 stars.

Fiverr sends me an email this morning (24 hours or so later) telling me that I had not reviewed the order requirements ("...but we noticed that you haven’t viewed the requirements.") and that I should.....😐

The issue here is likely that I responded using the mobile app, rather than my studio computer.  I normally respond via my desktop.  So, another bug to add to the pile I guess.

Yes. I’m beyond annoyed with that particular bug.

Yesterday I finally complained and they told me they are looking into it. But who really knows if that’s true.

  11. Mathematically, you can't have 5 if there's at least a 4.9 in the metrics... that's why... I really hope they add the decimals so it can be at least a little bit more fair.

Edit: I mean, I was never good at maths, but this is correct, right? Come to think of it, it's incredibly sad, because it means we will NEVER be 5 ever again
