This is my first time around here and did not really get the pricing. Why does it say $5 for basic and you get offers way expensive than that?

The $5 basic gig description should tell you what a seller will deliver for that $5. If you are getting offers that are more expensive than that then that is because your requirement is more than the scope of their basic gig. That can be any number of reasons depending on the seller but it might just be because it is harder, or more time-consuming than the basic gig.

$5 is the default price if the seller doesn’t fix any price for the gig. But buyers should contact the seller to discuss pricing and other matters before order the gig.

How can I remove the processing fee so my gigs’ payments can only be $5 (or free gig) and not $5.50?

This is simple–just don’t buy a gig and save $5.50 altogether! HTH.

I’m afraid that in this case, you will probably have to contact customer support and see if they can get one of their web guys to redesign Fiverr’s entire customer payment system.

Just remember to be super polite to whoever you deal with to give your request a better chance of getting attended to asap.
