Why does it take so long (days, weeks) to get paid from Fiverr, i mean it’s only $5 !!!

I am aware that this has been brought up many times here, but why are so many people upset about the 14 day waiting period?
For many jobs out there, you get paid once a month. For Fiverr, it’s ONLY 14 days.
$5 is not that much, then why can’t you wait for 2 weeks? If it was $5000, I sort of get it, you want to get that money ASAP ( believe me,I would!), but for $5? Why the rush? In some countries $5 is a lot, and you want to get that money right away so you can survive for a day, but it seems like that’s not the case for you. You said it yourself usechen, it’s only $5. Sorry, but I just get so puzzled every time I see someone get upset about this.
