  1. Hi fiverr is a bridge what, sellers and buyers linked together, but this meeting is not easy and pleasent one to all. but i think it should be a nice and productivity meeting to both. because i believe buyer should grab all requirements from seller and seller should earn satisfied income according to his/her contribution. so i think buyer should have a responsible to direct seller to grab 100% PRODUCTIVITY he want. first buyer should contact and share the ideas before place the order, if he can ask a simple sample will help to discuss his requirements after place the order buyer can wait until submit the work within his time frame, after collect the project buyer should check all the work few times and mark the revisions then submit revisions and other requirements clearly. it is better to submit all once, it will help to adjust simply and help to save time and data of both then discuss and share your ideas via message box will help to both side it shouls give sufficient time to seller to do revisions without any stress finally if you are satis you can confirm the order completion
  2. There is no surefire way to avoid bad sellers on Fiverr, but there are a few things you can do to minimize your risk: 1. Check the seller's reviews and ratings before placing an order. 2. Pay attention to the language used in the seller's gig description. If it is full of grammatical errors, this is usually a red flag. 3. Communicate clearly with the seller before placing an order. Ask any questions you have about the gig, and be specific about your expectations. 4. If possible, request a custom gig from the seller. This way, you can provide more detailed instructions and the seller will have a better understanding of what you need. 5. Be willing to pay a little extra for a seller that you can trust. In general, the saying "you get what you pay for" is true.
  3. The old or expert seller was a new seller too, Somebody gave them a chance & gradually they became an expert seller. Every new seller isn't bad but yes you have to figure out who is best if you want to hire a new person. As a buyer what you should expect from a seller? of course quality work, good communication, being conscious about the deadline, and being a very good human being for a long time work. You have all the options in your hand to check the seller before you place an order. 1. Go to his/her gig read their description if you feel comfortable then you can read their FAQ section on how they actually work afterward you can drop a message. 2. Ask them their portfolio, and this time maybe they don't have a real project but of course, you can see their practice work, so you will understand their quality. 3. While you chat with the seller measure how they chat. Is he/she good at communication, if they are not then don't hire them because they won't even understand the project and will waste your time, so make sure you check their communication fuluency. 4. You can offer them for a small task, if they do well, now you trust the seller. 5. It's true new sellers charge very cheap because they don't have any testimonials but they will work hard to get a good testimonial so that they can grow their account. So I'm pretty sure if you can check a few points before hiring, you won't regret it. 6. You have full control to cancel the work if you don't get quality work. Money doesn't go anywhere but as a seller, I often see, A few buyers harass the seller to do more work but the payment is the same. Give a chance to a new person if you can but for an important project and a bigger project, you may go with an expert.
  4. So I've been getting a lot of tips on Fiverr from a lot of my recent orders (not that I'm complaining in any way, thank you universe for blessing me with this positive karma), and ever since the first tip I got I was confused (well, I'm not anymore, but I was then). It reflects on you earnings page as a regular order so the first time I didn't pay proper attention and thought they were just regular orders. Till it was time for payout and I saw my earnings wasn't complete and went back to check and realized the tip had a 20% cut taken from it. Now this isn't me raising a torch flag at Fiverr, but back when I went to look for resources that explained whether they take cuts on tips or not, I found nothing. Not even posts on it on the forum. (Which, p.s, niiiiice forum update! I haven't been here in a while and was surprise by the new upgrade. I like it very much! 💕) After I got more tips from more orders I realized that this was just how things were and didn't think to question it. After all, anytime you even breath about Fiverr's commission fees, there's someone ready to rip you limb from limb and scream that "If you don't like it then leave!!!". Which isn't what I'm here to do. I just wanted to see what other sellers think about this. Do you feel it's perfectly all right to charge 20% for your tips since they provided the platform that facilitated the exchange of your services? Or do you feel no, it's kinda wrong, it's like a restaurant taking a percentage of the tips waiters earned while working there. I'm going Philly D with this and asking you what you're thoughts on the topic are and where you land on the spectrum? I'd love to hear from you! (If it turns out that they DID mention this "20% from tips" thing somewhere in the terms of service, and my monkey brain just didn't find it, then kindly just ignore this entire post.)

  6. I sent an offer via buyers request, the buyer eventually messaged me with the following chat "so are you sure you can handle this project? send me a message on whatsapp: +1 ‪(949) ***-**** With Your information such as Your Name, Email, Country, State. Purpose, Skill." The buyer's profile shows Nigeria, but the number he sent is an American number. Though it is against Fiverr rules. And he doesn't want me to send the information via Fiverr. What should I do?
