Please excuse my ignorance, but what does the conversionrate actually mean? What does it indicate?

Mine is 1.9% at the moment.

Reply to @loisjong: It means what rate of views are turning or converting into orders. If 100 people see your gig and 10 make an order, you have a 10% conversion rate. The good news is that you can make money even if your conversion rate is not as high as you’d like. 50% of 10 is 5. 10% of 200 is 20. So would you rather get 5 orders or 20?

Reply to @sue_mcl: I focus more on the views I get than the conversion rate. More views means more chances to convert.

It’s varies between 2-3% in my GIGs. Hope it will increase 6-8% someday 🙂

I recently changed some ad copy on my gigs, added a new gig, and re-configured my extras, and I’m up to 1.19% conversion rate. I’ve already got some repeat customers, and at this rate I should hit level 1 in another week 😃
