Quick gig video question

When a video is uploaded for a gig, do you get to select the thumbnail or is it just a random still?

Yeah, 'cause that makes so much sense. Ugh. You'd think they could come up with a way to load and set a preview of the video before making it live. Oh well, it's a step in the right direction.

I have an idea, although it may not make any sense but hear me out.



When you first upload a video the preview isn’t available until it is updated, and it could take a while to update a video.



And because you can only pick a preview that is in the video, the option is not available until the video is fully uploaded.



But why can’t we put our own preview for the video up… (Or maybe I’m being greedy :P)

Do you mean, why couldn’t we just set our own still shot as a thumbnail when we upload the video? Basically upload a photo as well as the video?

Reply to @seanc99: I think Fiverr wouldn’t bother making that a possibility. Their priority is having the videos up and running as soon as possible for search. It might add a minute or two extra if they allowed a still and video. 😉
