  1. I have multiple free WordPress blogs where I write daily. I also own an affiliate website. All of my blogs have daily readers, so I have my own audience. My posts receive a significant amount of engagement. I want to attach links to those blogs in my portfolio. Can I do it? One of my close family friends is also a Fiverr seller, but he's into tech services, so I couldn't gather much information from him. However, he said one thing: Fiverr doesn't allow any seller to attach active links, and if I do, they will ban my profile. So, can I do it? Any help? I badly need the answer! 😭
  2. I am not selling actually and I know my gig is useless. I just made the gig out of curiosity and not into selling. I am new to the platform and trying to understand how it works. When I am done, I will re-edit it. I am just roaming here for advice and tips lol. As for the AI problem, Every freelance site has this problem for writers.
  3. I just saw your profile. You have successful gigs and quite a brand yourself. Sellers like you can afford to lose a few clients. But what about us who are just starting? Nobody believes us! AI-written content can easily rank on Google. I have my own affiliate website. In the beginning, I used to write everything myself. Then, after completing a small course and doing some research, I discovered that AI-generated content of good quality can attract organic readers and generate sales. I sometimes use AI tools to write for my blog, and the articles rank well too! But the problem arises when clients, who may not even read the content they're buying or can't judge its quality, refuse to understand the situation. Once, I encountered a client who demanded a 100% perfect Grammarly report (a tool that detects grammar errors). Firstly, I was confident that I DID NOT need the tool because I am proficient in English writing. There's no chance it will find errors in my writing. However, when I delivered the content, the client sent me a report highlighting grammar errors - clarity issues, tone suggestions, redundancies, and more ( In short, more trash). She canceled the order. I purchased a subscription to Grammarly to see what the problem was. I found the tool to be another trash, as it flagged words like 'probably' and 'definitely' as errors. To understand my client's demand, I copied and pasted an article from the client's website to check its grammar, and it showed 100% correctness on Grammarly. However, the content was boring to read and quite weird too. You know, AI isn't the problem; it's the minds that aren't ready to accept change that pose the main issue. It's a sad reality and I can't afford to lose clients or the $5 they pay me. Got a big tummy to feed and lots of bills to pay 😞
  4. 1. Add 5 tags relevant to your gigs. The gig description is enough to impress the clients, but I personally believe you should add more tags to your gig. See the tag section I have attached a photo of. It's very important for ranking. You should use 5 different types of tags here. They will work as keywords that will help to rank your gig. You have only used one tag (Data verification). Using only one keyword may limit your visibility in search results. Consider using common and popular keywords that most clients search for. I don't have expertise in your service field but I assume keywords like data cleaning, data entry, data scraping, data excel, and data mining are more relevant. Adding these keywords can improve the visibility and ranking of your gig. 2. Make more gigs. Have the maximum number of gigs you can make. Right now you only have one. The more gigs you make, the more your service will come in your client's search results. 3. The title isn't looking professional I will do Magnificent Excel data cleaning makes you look unprofessional. Try changing it to I will do data entry, data mining, excel, and data extraction.
  5. Same thing happened to me. The client insulted me and kept saying " I trusted you". The experience was horrible for me. So, I always give my clients an Originality ai report with the delivery to give peace to their souls. I think for now, it's the best idea for me to solve this problem. Buy the best ai detector and provide the reports by yourself. 🙂
  6. 1. The first look of the video is still unclear. Try these steps: Go to the gig Gallery. Look at the video. You will find an "Edit" option. Click it. There is a 'set preview' option. You have to find a good still image from your video that will showcase your full service. For your case, stop the video at 0.1 second and click 'as preview'. Save the gig and you're done! Right now your video is your main gig image and it's unclear, like this photo I have attached. Just follow the steps, and the video will show your main service to your clients, which will bring more clicks to your service. 2. The first paragraph of your gig description has a few grammatical mistakes. I have corrected the grammatical mistakes. You can use this description which will look more appealing to the clients. 7. If you saw this ID https://www.fiverr.com/users/nezuko_writes/seller_dashboard The description I wrote on my profile is fully written by me. The description starts with a small intro about my personality (My name is Nezuko, a quick learner and an opportunity grabber. I find solace in experimenting with different types of writing tasks such as newsletters, articles, blogs, and social me). Next, I highlighted my service (As an SEO specialist, I will craft engaging and creative articles on any topic you desire with the best SEO practices!) and Finally a good reason why a client should hire me in an online platform where trust assurance is a big issue (Additionally, I offer premium reports to ensure the authenticity and readability of my written content) Now for the Gig Description, there's only 12,000 characters for me to describe my service. If I start showcasing my writing skill, will I have sufficient space to describe my business? In 'Online Freelancing Essentials: Be a Successful Fiverr Seller,' the video advices us to talk about our service rather than showcase our writing in the gig descriptions. I do accept the fact that I didn't write much. I just added bullet points. That's probably my fault. I thought when customers buy gigs, all they want to see are the services and advantages they are getting - a whole package. For reviewing my writing skill, the portfolio section is open. They can also ask for samples in the chatbox. The video course also advised to answer as many questions as a client would ask about your service, and that's what I did, showcased the services I offer in short and added 4-5 FAQs. Since the evolution of OpenAI, I've noticed that whenever somebody sees a writer, they naturally assume that the writer copy-pastes everything from ChatGPT. And the ones who are charging cheaply are just directly accused ( also accused by senior writers). Well, you have been at Fiverr since 2016 and I am a newbie, I probably don't know the rules. BUT! I WASN'T LOOKING FOR WRITING ADVICE or WHY I SHOULD NOT USE CHATGPT. Anyway, Thanks for the feedbacks. I appreciate it.
  8. Can I add any docx file link to my project catalog?
  9. Not exactly, but if you copy-paste every gig, they might mistake you for a bot and suspend your ID. While there isn't explicit information that they will suspend accounts for using AI-generated content but clients might lose interest in purchasing your service. Fiverr does have Terms of Service (TOS) regarding user-generated content (the information you post in your gigs about yourself and your portfolio). You can refer to this article to see what Fiverr says about user-generated content. Article
  10. I am a content writer. Is there any chance you would review my gigs and share a few tips too :')
  11. Can I add a docx file link to the project section of my profile or its against the rules? It only allows 5 pictures. It's not enough for me to showcase my work. Thanks in advance!
  12. Remember! that the video will be the face of your gig, and it's very important to make your client click on your gig. So, first of all, make sure that the video has a still image that will briefly showcase your whole service. For example, if you are a developer, have one still image in your video informing your client that you are a developer and you fix bugs or create websites (I mean your service). You can add an intro, examples of your work (portfolio), and client reviews or anything that's relates your service. But! Don't include any active links or contact info (you will be banned for sure). When you add the video, the committee will review it and approve it if it follows the terms of regulation. When it's upload, set that still image which will be the face of your gig/service. There is an editing option above the video. Click it and set the still image as the preview. Additional information: Be as humble as possible to your clients in the chatbox. Clients review is very important for your business. Specially the private feedbacks you don't see. Fiverr is very strict on them. No matter what they say, never be rude to them. If a client reports your ID and you get banned, you can't reopen the ID with your own identity. This means you can not come back to Fiverr or reopen your business. If a client gets banned, he will just open another one with a different email. So, technically it'll be you who will loose.
  13. I am a new seller with no reviews on Fiverr but I have enough work experience in my area of expertise and I have a portfolio website that showcases my previous works. But it has a piece of contact information. Can I attach the link ( my portfolio website) to my gigs or my seller profile? Recently I have had enough clicks on my gigs but no message in the chatbox. I assume clients are failing to see I am qualified in my area of service. I have attached screenshots and PDF files of my recent project to my gigs but showcasing a website has more impact. I have read the Fiverr rules and regulations. It says no contact info allowed. So can anyone help me to solve the dilemma? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you.
  14. Okay, I understand this part, but I still have one remaining confusion. Fiverr is a great place for getting work, but there are also many scammers. What should I do if a client turns out to be fake or engages in unethical behavior in the chatbox? Let's assume I'm having a conversation with my client in a language other than English (Such as Bengali). If they demand something against the rules, such as communicating outside of Fiverr or engaging in illegal activities like money laundering (think of it as an example), and I politely inform them in Bengali (not English) that it's against the rules and report it, will the Fiverr community understand the situation? I've heard that Fiverr manually checks everything. If the authorities check the inbox, how will they judge us? Sometimes translations can be incorrect. Wouldn't it be better to have the communication in English? As my seller ID is new, I've noticed that I receive at least 1 or 2 spam messages in my inbox every day. I'm not sure if others experience the same, but being a newbie seems to attract a lot of scammers. So, what are your thoughts on this? 🙂 I am well aware - If a client is good and kind, the communication, work, and payment become smooth no matter what mistake the seller makes but what if the clients are not that compromise-minded? I was wondering if it's written somewhere by the Fiverr authority that I can use another language rather than English.
