If the customer agrees to the extension and you update the order status accordingly, it should no longer be marked as late. Just make sure to communicate clearly with the customer and document the agreement. If you're still waiting for a reply, consider following up politely to ensure a response.

Thank you!

So I understand is, even though it was marked late, and the customer then gave a delivery date extension, it will no longer affect the "on time delivery stat"?

So if the customer accepts an extension, that sets a new delivery time. If you don't deliver on time according to the new deadline, then the order is late again and you will be penalized for a late order again.

Before the late, you may request and send for the extension. But after being late order, if you extend.it will definitely little impact on order delivery rate..But don't worry, if you send extension request before the time ended..It will not impact indeed.

Thank you.

So you are saying that if we request the delivery extension BEFORE the original order delivery, even if the client doesnt respond to it, it will have no impact on our delivery rate? Is that somewhere in Fiverr policies?
