yes, you can change the description of your gig whenever you want. Changing the description can potentially improve your account or not; all of this depends on your chosen keywords. Which keywords do you select.

You can edit your Fiverr description at any time. Simply go to your profile page and click on the “Edit Profile” button. From there, you can change your bio, add new services, and update your description.

absolutely your gig will be unranked. if your gig has unranked you can edit. or you shouldn't do,  if your gig has ranked on fiverr algorithm.  but you can edit your price details. it will not be effect more.

Day by day Fiverr marketplace is going to be more competitive. so, if you want to sell your service more you must have to update your service and update your gig also. so don't be afraid of the comments people write. keep updating your gig based on service and competition.

yes you can change the pricing even you can even update the whole gig such as the description, images text as well but try to select low pricing in starting you get project easily.
