Creating a website or running ads on fiverr gig

I waned to ask that how do you guys bring traffic to your fiverr gig? I am thinking about creating a new website for my fvierr profile and running meta and google ads on it. Does anyone have experience with it?

You're not allowed to use Google AdWords to advertise your Fiverr gig or anything Fiverr-related. It's in Fiverr's Terms of Service.

I know some sellers who are successfully running ads on their profiles and I was told it is allowed.
