If I turn on the vacation mode for 1 week and come back after the vacation, will this affect my gig rank or something? Is there any negative impact?

When you turn on the vacation mode, then your gig rank will goes down. But after turn off the vacation mode, you should do your performance better. After that, you gig rank will recover.

I have used it 3 times. I can say my own observation that you remain on the same ranking if a few order  in Queue. otherwise, your gig will be not perform like before.

If you have some orders in queue, it will not affect your ranking else if you leave your gig empty for several days, there are highly chances that it will be deranked
