Confused on Buyer requests

I am relatively new to Fiverr and have sold a few gigs already but wanted to try to add new clients. But the buyer requests are completely empty. I am based in Singapore, is it because of my geography? It seems unlikely that my gigs (copy writing and editing) would be consistently empty.

Am I doing something wrong?

You are currently a no-level seller. Fiverr shows few to no buyer requests to no-level sellers. When you are promoted to a Level 1 seller, you will likely see plenty of buyer requests that you can respond to.

Nah, there’s nothing vicious about it. It’s just the way Fiverr is set up.
