How far can I go with content?

Hi, so I want to start a gig where I design fliers and graphics and what not. My question is whether I can use copyright-free images in those designs or do all images or photos used have to be taken by me (or my client)?

You can use graphics that you have the rights to use commercially. Probably would help to research copyright and commercial use. Creative commons designation is open to use. I’ve found a lot of things online that say copyright-free are not really. I’d suggest a reputable stock graphic site where you know what rights you’re getting.
