steveeyes Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 One of the things I wanted to do in trying to get more customers was to be consistent with my video thumbnails. I know within Fiverr, you can Pause your gig and supposedly select that portion of the video as your video preview or thumbnail, but mine never worked properly.I learn that the first 6 seconds of your video is what fiverr will use automatically as your preview. So for every gig, I did a 6 second whiteboard intro with an intro VO along a thumbnail created in photoshop. Now all my gig’s intro are consistent and it helped attract new buyers.A big thank you to Eoin for getting me to look at things from a different perspective.A thank you to Lisa for doing the intro VO… she does a great job
misscrystal Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Your videos and thumbnails look amazing! I’m very impressed.
Guest offlinehelpers Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Didn’t know that - thank you so much for sharing! 🙂I’m planning some new gigs, so might try it out!
eoinfinnegan Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 I agree with @misscrystal those thumbnails just invite people to click on to your gig.A great title and gig image/thumbnail is the difference between a gig getting impressions and getting clicks.Glad I could help 🙂 and glad it has worked out well.
steveeyes Posted July 27, 2017 Author Posted July 27, 2017 Thanks for the compliments and feedback. It took me at least 3 tries to get it right. Fiverr CS must of been getting sick of approving my videos but the only way I could figure out what would work and wouldn’t work was to upload and then test. Sorry CS 🙂
steveeyes Posted July 27, 2017 Author Posted July 27, 2017 Thats a bug i thinkisnt it?Do you mean the fact I could not use the preview feature when editing the gig? I’m not sure it was a bug but I know over the years mine worked on and off. When we went through the latest update and things slowed down I wanted to change my thumbnail look but the preview feature did not work so I found another way.

I bolt on my thumbnail picture at the end of my video and then selected it as the thumbnail but pausing it etc when editing.Must be a bug of some kind.If it doesn’t work then find a way… And that’s what you did so I’m impressed 😁
Guest expertpeople Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 It also happens with meI just closed it, but fiverr didnt pause my gig at that time
