Question

Hello everyone,

I’m hoping for some advice on how to grow my presence on Fiverr. I recently had my first client since joining in December 2023. So I am very happy with that outcome.

Current Offerings

Right now, my only active gig is in the Video & Animation category, focusing on video editing for YouTube videos.

Expanding My Services

I’m considering whether to add more video editing gigs or if I should stick with my original three offerings:

  1. YouTube Video editing

  2. Photo editing

  3. Factual AI Article Writing and Humanization

I had these gigs listed for a while but no one ever bought gigs 2 or 3. Though that could be for a variety of reasons.

I’m unsure if I should restart these gigs or narrow my focus to just video and audio editing. My goal is to concentrate on AI-related services for now, as I have experience in various areas like:

  • Video and audio editing

  • AI voice-overs

  • AI article writing and humanization

  • AI-assisted Creative writing

  • Prompt engineering

  • AI art generation

I am also unsure how to price my services as well. I hope to relaunch a full set of gigs in January and would greatly appreciate any advice that you have.

Program Feedback

I’m also curious about the Kickstart Program and Seller Plus Program. I noticed that the Kickstart program includes a month of free courses, and I’ve found several that interest me both professionally and personally.  I not sure if I should do the course through CreatorLive or simply purchase the courses through Fiverr Learn.

Lastly, if you have any tips for a new freelancer, I would greatly appreciate your suggestions. Thank you all for your time!

Congrats on your first client! Focus on video editing and related services like AI voice-overs. Offer tiered pricing (Basic, Standard, Premium) to appeal to different budgets. Use the Kickstart Program for free courses and choose the platform that suits you. Optimize your gig descriptions and portfolio, stay consistent, and you’ll see growth!

First of all congrats on your first order i'm sure it felt great.
Now see I know how when publishing multiple gigs things get tough and one does better than the other and its hard to optimize all of them together and track progress accordingly. You said gig 2 and 3 didnt do good. My advice to you is that you need to double check your keywords make sure they are in demand. Along with this u need to make sure ur display picture looks professional. Pricing can be very hard to decide on so u need to see your competitor's pricing and if ur a new seller then u just give more value to ur customers for a bit of a lower price . Try making small changes in your gigs but remember to atleast leave your gig for a week after each change to fully test your gig.

Congrats on landing your first client! That’s a great start. Since you're focusing on AI-related services, I recommend building out gigs around AI voice-overs, AI creative writing, or prompt engineering—these are in-demand areas.

For the gigs that haven’t gained traction, consider revising descriptions, updating samples, or adjusting pricing. Starting with competitive rates can help get visibility.

Regarding the Kickstart Program vs. Fiverr Learn, both are great, but if you're looking to quickly learn Fiverr-specific tools, Kickstart might be better. Fiverr Learn is great for deepening specific skills.

Keep up the great work, and best of luck!

Thank you. I am actually considering some of those as potential gigs. This was very helpful thank you.

Also apparently i can only take Fiverr Learn as my account is older than two months.

I actually developed a question for you. What are you are referencing when you talk about AI creative writing. Are you talking about prompts? Or writing entire stories for people?
