So how was your results with your test?

That was pretty much my experience too. It took a week or so to get back to normal once I stopped promoting. Using this feature i just realized some things: Clients that bought without contact you (even if you describe it in your gig)Clients that click on your gig thinking that you create something that you don’t work on.I getted just 1 order per month, is crazyAs reporterd by other people above, i also faced a falling in the organic results after using itThe cost per click is really expensive, and just will increaseI stoped the promotion, so i hope that my organic results comeback, this paid promotion just brought me random clients that don’t purchase.

I decreased the BID amount and received a new order, i just received two orders and this two orders the buyer bought without contact me before to purchase. So i think that’s can be a trend of buyers that bought without contact the seller, so maybe this can be an problem for some sellers. The feature help to get new orders but you need be careful of how much are you paying for each click. I decreased the velue, because i don’t agree to pay the recommendation of 0.50 in my GIG… is very expensive!

I am not receiving new messages as i usually receive, what I can say is that this feature is not good! The results should position us based on our performance. If Fiverr wants to earn more, they should encourage sallers to charge more, there are many talented sallers charging very cheaply. My recommended BID now is 0.45, with $10 you get 22 clicks (very expensive, because this is not a guarantee of sell) Top sellers and level 2 are facing fall down in the results, something happened at Fiverr, i don’t know what’s going on… some sellers was moved from first page to others pages.

I don’t received yet an answer from them, let’s hope that the things back to normal.

Is good to see that this is happen with other people too, i commented about it before in the forum but people confunded thinking that low results is because you are new in the fiverr. You are TRS and are facing the same as me, the number of messages, clicks and orders falllin this month… and i don’t know why, i contact the support to see about my gigs i’m level two seller. How much time that you facing less results in your gigs?

All type of promotion need be evident… they need show somewhere that something is promoted. There is a law for that just do not know if it applies in this case. I stopped my promotion because i’m facing a low number of messages, before that i received more messages but i’m not sure about this, i need see what will happen

In the first days that i used it i keep following the numbers of clicks… when the clicks stopped i increase the BID value and the clicks come again. I reliazed that you will receive clicks just if you insert a big value, and the BID price just increase as time goes by. I’m not sure if is a good idea to use it, i stopped the promotion of my gig. I wanna promote another gig that don’t filled yet the requirements, i don’t know exactly how take maximum results from this feature

aaa720×432 23.4 KBI already use it, and i conquest one good order spend the gift of $10… but now i faced something strange: I insert $1,00 to won all auction (so no matter the cust per click i’ll won) But now i faced that i’m paying $0.51 per click, but the Fiverr recommend in my category the value $0.38… So the question is: If the recommendation is $0.38, why i’m paying $0.51 in auction? I need watch this more closest… check regulary how much i’m paying per click and adjust by the recommentadion of the category. Another something to pay attention is how many clicks are you receiving… for example in the beginning with the $10 of gift i received 50 clicks… but the price per click will increase with time, so in the end maybe i’ll start to pay like $25 per 50 clicks :thinking:

Hi Miila, thanks. Yes i received one order, you can track the order that came from ads. The Promotion Ads still in beta, so certainly they will fix eventualy problems… i’m using the Gift from Fiverr to test Ads. I recommend read all this topic: https://sellers.fiverr.com/en/article/promoted-gigs I don’t know how will work for “Fiverr’s Choice”, but i think that the better way is be able to track where the order came from… like the ads you can see what order came from ads. Everything is about test, i think that ADS is more one option to get orders, i believe too that how much early you start to use it better will be for you or maybe this feature can become more difficulty to use in future because the number of the users that will be using it (i don’t know)… but i hope be able to promote my others GIG too, i don’t wanna promote my best seller gig.

I used the ADS and i noticed that the main point is the BID (The amount you wanna pay per click)… i inserted a value and i watched the results for a few days. I noticed that my promotion stop to receive clicks, the reason is the value of the BID… if you realize that you are not receiving more clicks, you need incrise the value. So to get results with the ADS you need follow your statics, the ADS don’t will help you if you don’t see this statics to keep improving it. I geted a good order with the Ads and spended just $3.39 of the $10 gift from Fiverr. The ADS will work as a auction, who are dispost to pay more per click will win the auction, but is not a guarantee of receive an order. This is why you will need improve your gigs to conquest new customers.

For new sellers the recommended is send everyday 10 offers in the Buyer Request, this feature help a lot who is starting in the platform. This feature don’t will work if new sellers with level 0 and 1 starting to Promote the Gig without having experience in the platform… you know the sellers with level 2 and TRS, worked for more than one year to reach this level.

I think that this new feature can give us more opportunities and maybe will be possible to us depend less of just organic results, maybe we can stay less online without prejudice our performance. I hope that Promoted Gigs give more orders, for keep investing in this. You know sometimes we pay ADS to get one client, and this client can order more than once. Let’s see if this will work, the feature is in beta yet, i wanna that they let us promote more than one gig.

I am a TRS and for the past two weeks new buyer inquiries have dropped to almost zero. Thank goodness for my regular buyers otherwise I would be in trouble. Yes it’s forced me to look at ads. I am seeing some sellers that have 2-3 spots on the first page. How can this be right? Some sellers have vanished from the first 3-4 pages. I also checked my email and junk files there are no invites as yet. New business for me has almost dropped completely. I talked about it here but no one give atention in the forum, as you said in the past two weeks the inquiries dropped, with me, with you and with others people. I’m almost sure that the reason is because the new Promote Gig feature. Before this past two weeks i received everyday at least one message from clients.

I think in the same way as you, the Gig need at least 30 review, okay… but i would like to promote my second gig who give me more revenue per order, i don’t wanna promote my main gig just because have more reviews

Recently i received a messege where the person send the ■■■■■, and i repond this: The Fiverr permite the contact only via this chat. So if is a real person they will contact you via chat, but all of them don’t will respond because they are scammer
