  1. Hmm... 2. Welcome to the forums. 3. It might be a good idea to send one last message, something like: "This will be my last correspondence with you. It's clear that I'm not the right Seller for you and your ongoing project. I wish you the best in finding a Seller who can accommodate your schedule." Then block.
  4. If you want to know why Fiverr did a thing, you'll need to ask Fiverr. I have heard that a lot of profiles in hypercompetitive categories are being rejected, though I don't know how true that it.
  5. This is where new-work costs should have been discussed. (How much more work, how much will that cost the Buyer.) And here is where you should have started talk about 'change orders'. This should really have been a completely new order. It's a part of your job as a Seller to help the buyer understand what IS and what IS NOT a part of your service. Consumer education is hard, I know, but it's necessary, within reason. https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/136314-the-power-of-saying-no/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/222069-stand-your-ground-setting-boundaries-as-a-seller/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/145429-the-art-of-saying-no-nicely/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/220973-top-5-tips-to-protect-yourself-from-badly-behaved-buyers/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/202647-guide-how-to-avoid-bad-buyers-and-how-to-deal-with-them-if-you-cant/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/282412-what-to-do-if-a-buyer-asks-for-endless-revisons/
  6. There is a big difference between 'sustainable' and 'stable'. Freelancing can be sustainable, and the earned income can be enough to sustain an extremely proactive, hard-working and go-getter, skilled, adaptable, diversified, long-term planner, wise budgeter/saver. HOWEVER! Freelancing is incredibly unstable. If a person is not proactive about seeking out the next job, if they're lackadaisical or antipathetic, if they don't know what their doing, if they don't and/or can't identify opportunities/threats and adjust, if they are over reliant on one source of leads, if they cannot plan ahead more than a year, if they cannot save for lean seasons, then no: freelancing is not sustainable.
  7. Spikes happen. They usually don't last very long, so make the most of it while you can.
  8. I glanced at your profile page. The videos are better than many I've seen, but there is definite room for improvement. For example, I like the attempt at the radio tuning correlation to finetuning writing, but you've used it on two of your gigs, and one is targeted to college applicates. An old radio like that might not even be recognized by a good chunk of the youngest of your target market, meaning they completely miss the analogy, meaning they probably move on to other gigs. You also have to keep in mind how the gig images and videos will look at thumbnail size. Some of the text is plain too small to read.
  9. Whenever you edit your gigs, they go through a verification before reappearing in the search results. Sometimes this takes less than an hour, sometimes it can take a few days. Fiverr isn't like YouTube. It doesn't have live feedback, which is important for accurate AB testing. In general, edit your gig as often as needed, but as little as possible. Also, it's been observed that new sellers oft get a temporary boost when first starting out, but that boost doesn't last very long. https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011028318-Managing-your-Gigs You can check here to see if the gigs are active on the backend: https://www.fiverr.com/support_tickets/selling-on-fiverr/gigs/gig-status
  10. Studio gigs were discontinued completely... back in February, I think.
  11. Country of the Seller probably also plays a part. In the US, there's a clash between freedom of speech and civil rights. A logo falls under the category of art, and art is considered a form of speech. Quote: "Ensuring both freedom of speech and civil rights requires good-faith efforts at respect – and respect is a two-way street." 13. How long ago did you change the video?
  14. Hope these can help answer your questions: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/260825-yet-more-tips-for-newbie-sellers-before-creating-your-account/ https://forum.fiverr.com/c/fiverr-vid/42https://community.fiverr.com/tags/spotlight/ [Topic merged, per forum rule 1]
  15. Sadly, a lot, and not just scam "Sellers", but also scam "Buyers". Plus there are both Buyers and Sellers who just plain don't know what they're doing, even if their intent isn't dubious. Fiverr has no barrier to entry, so anyone can sign up.
  16. Welcome to the forums. 18. If the user account doesn't exist, it's not Fiverr ending the conversation, it's Fiverr banning the user, most likely for spam or scam attempts, in which case they were never legitimate clients in the first place.
  19. If I offer more advice, are you going to ignore that too? https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011028318-Managing-your-Gigs
  20. Question: what happened to the gigs for which you'd gotten reviews? Did you delete them, or did Fiverr? If your family is relying on you for finances, it's probably a wise choice to look for a job with regular hours and regular pay.
  21. Sorry, but 'rank' on Fiverr isn't like either of those other platforms. Fiverr uses a matching algorithm. Quote: "Gig positions are not permanent and can rotate daily. " Source: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011028318-Managing-your-Gigs
  22. Please see: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360049910953-Refunds- (BTW, you can't have two accounts unless one is a Business account. Just an FYI.)
  23. I meant the terminology. You mention and imply more than once that you are guessing. Assumptions can very quickly lead to big, big trouble. Often costly trouble. As for a source, since this is Fiverr's gig structure, if you want to know what Fiverr means, ask Fiverr itself. Alternatively, to save having to deal with Support, you can use your gig description space and FAQ section to define what these packages mean to you, so that a potential Buyer can see it for themselves. Defining is part of communication.
  24. It doesn't affect me. As a majority of people on the forums aren't in the US, it probably won't affect them either. That said, it does make sense, in lue of the Community Standards section of the ToS, concerning financial risk.
