  1. Don't rely on buyer requests. Create new gigs, do research with other buyers, make your gig better, improve your gig videos, add better keywords, improve your description.

Learning to search through the forum is the best way to learn how to improve your gig, stats, orders, etc on Fiverr.
Since the same questions are posted every single day and hundreds of people have spent hundreds of hours answering them.

  3. You need to select the option in the "edit gig" screen to require buyers to fill out questions before it starts.

As long as you have that active, the order will never start until they are filled in, unless you press the "I have everything I need" button.

I have unstarted orders from 6 months ago that the buyer never filled in requirements for, and it's still sat in "awaiting requirements".

  4. If a buyer request is just someone advertising their service, you can report it.

This clearly is not a "scam" - it's just someone using the feature to self promote, and using it incorrectly. A scam is when someone tries to use lies or deception to take someone's money. What you're describing is just annoying advertising and feature misuse.

  5. You can redeliver and he might give you a bad review, or you can cancel the order and avoid the bad review but you won't get the money.

Generally, don't ask clients "are you playing games" - even if they're rude doesn't mean you should be unprofessional. That's just asking for a bad review.

Always try and be polite and respectful and just follow the rules of the site.

Next time, you should say "sorry, I can't extend by another week, Fiverr gives you 3 days to check the delivery. The revision button can only be used to make changes to the order, not to extend the review time."

Just be polite and quote the rules of the site if buyers try to take advantage of you. If you need to, ask Fiverr customer support for help. But don't be unprofessional, that's not going to gain you anything other than a bad review.

  6. I'm sorry, but no. Fiverr are very clear that you can't communicate outside of the platform, they give warnings if you type an @ symbol in a message to state outside communication isn't allowed, etc... It's like the number 1 most important rule of fiverr. 😕

I'm sorry that happened to you, but unfortunately if you have been banned that's the end of it I think.

    You could contact support: support@fiverr.com

But you will probably need to take your services elsewhere, I don't think they usually unban people, especially not for a direct rule violation like that

  7. Fiverr continuously cycles gigs to be in different pages on the search results. Sometimes at the front, sometimes at the back. This is to give everyone an equal opportunity to do well on fiverr. When you're on the front you will have more impressions. Nearer to the back of the search results will mean less impressions.

  8. I have seen cases here where sellers have asked for buyers to leave a review and its been flagged by the system and the sellers have received warnings from fiverr staff about engaging in review manipulation. Perhaps the posters on the forum weren't being honest about the wording of their request (that's certainly possible), but personally its not worth the risk to me.

  9. Just send them links to guide them:

Beyond that, you CANNOT ask for reviews or tips. You cannot ask for an honest review, even, let alone a good review. Just the word "review" can have your message flagged, and you can get warned that you are trying to participate in review manipulation. Just don't do it, don't talk to buyers about reviews at all. Fiverr already sends them multiple prompts, and makes it very easy to leave a review.

The buyer is lying to you by saying they can't leave one. They just don't want to. It would be best to just not engage at all.

  10. You can edit the gig and change the subcategory from the gig edit page, or just delete the gig and remake it since you don't have orders on it yet, so you aren't losing anything byb doing that.

  11. I don't think any of us have data like that, we're all just buyers and sellers. Focusing on number of impressions is a bit of a pointless task - it's better to focus on clicks and orders, and even then focusing too much on the numbers isn't that helpul.

  12. Firstly, this isn't the place to be asking about how to make money with crypto or things like that. The forum is for asking questions about buying and selling on fiverr.
