  1. With seller plus you can see the average rating that a buyer gives to their sellers they have used in the past also. I understand the frustration, it's very annoying to get those rare 3 or 4 stars even though the comments are positive and they never asked for any revisions. It's just part of the fiverr experience, do not let it worry you too much, everyone deals with it. And most sellers dont give buyers a poor rating anyway for fear of retaliation by the buyer.

  2. For me, it took about 2-3 weeks I think. It could have been sooner but I missed a message in the fiverr inbox and replied too late (a couple of days late). So make sure you have your notifications on! Once you have your first order and can get your first 5 star review, it gets easier after that.

  3. Fiverr continuously cycles gigs to be in different pages on the search results. Sometimes at the front, sometimes at the back. This is to give everyone an equal opportunity to do well on fiverr. When you're on the front you will have more impressions. Nearer to the back of the search results will mean less impressions.

Learning to search through the forum is the best way to learn how to improve your gig, stats, orders, etc on Fiverr.

  4. To be honest, just based on your comments on the forum, it's clear your standard of English isn't really high enough to be selling services as a professional writer, if you're selling this in English. When you're selling a service here, buyers do expect it to be a professional kind of standard, which doesn't include things like grammatical mistakes etc. If you're clearly not actually at that level of quality, why would someone bother wasting their time with revisions? In the same way that if someone is not good enough at painting, unlimited revisions won't improve the painting enough if someone is looking for a professional artwork.

To echo @smashradio, please rethink offering unlimited deliveries. For multiple reasons:

    1. It makes you seem less professional. Why would someone delivering a professional service require more than a couple of changes to deliver a perfect order? I only offer one revision, and then people can pay if they would like additional changes.
    2. You can be taken advantage of. I've seen many posts here where sellers are panicking because their buyer has asked for nearly a HUNDRED free revisions. This is a huge waste of time for you as a seller, but fiverr cannot help you because this is what you have promised. If you really insist on a high revision cap, leave it at something like 5-10. The maximum you would realistically be happy to do.

  5. Hey there, the forum is mostly for questions pertaining to fiverr, rather than for technical questions about specific niches, because most people here probably are not in the same category as you. 🙂 I would recommend using google or specific forums based on what you need help with. The Fiverr Q&A section is specifically for questions about fiverr.

Additionally, positive feedbacks and ratings expire after 60 days, so even if your ranks are good, over time your stats can go down.

  7. If you are not satisfied with your level of orders, it can be helpful to have it for a month or two in order to get a dedicated success manager who will tell you what you need to improve, and to check your analytics and keywords etc. I don't think most people would want to get it for more than a couple of months, unless you find the features such as 7 day withdrawals particularly important to you.

The advice on how to do well doesn't really change much from seller to seller.

  10. If people aren't actually clicking on your gig, then the issue is with your title and gig image/gig video.

  11. When you delete a gig, buyers can no longer find it or buy it, as it is no longer active on fiverr. It is deleted. They cannot see the previous work done on it, or the previous reviews you got.

However, the reviews will still count towards your overall reviews as a seller, people just won't be able to read the words written alongside the star rating score.

  13. I think my first gig video was approved within 48 hours. Now when I update it, probably less than 12 hours.

Not sure whether that's because the process is just quicker these days, or if it's because I'm a level 2 seller now, but I would expect it to be done within a day or two!

And yes, the gig video will automatically be the primary gig "image"

  14. Hi there,

You're correct - the process would be agree on price, date, and time, send custom offer (or get client to place order via page), and have them purchase the order.

Then once the interview is completed, you would use the delivery button, perhaps sending a proof of completion, such as any notes you made etc.

They would then accept the delivery.

The risk is the same as when you spend time working on and delivering any other piece of work, you just have to hope the client is reasonable and pay attention to any red flags. 🙂

    Good luck!

  16. In 2019 my top 3 months (in order) were January, July, August. My worst month was Feb.
In 2020 my top 3 months were Dec, Aug, March, my worst month was Feb.
In 2021 my top 3 months were May, April, Sept. My worst month was Oct.
So far in 2022 June was my best month, followed by March and April where I weirdly made the exact same amount, to the exact $ lol.

So as you can see, it varies quite a bit, even for 1 seller. It can depend on the general economy, the heat, what you offer, when you spend more time online, if you take vacations, when you make changes to your gig, what your niche is, what country you primarily serve, etc.

  19. I've never been blocked before, but they likely get a message saying "you can no longer contact this seller".  I've seen this before when someone's account was closed by fiverr, for example. They do know you have blocked them.

I had one buyer create a second account to harass and threaten me after I blocked them, but luckily after doing that they didn't reach out again. Sometimes I do worry that the blocking method isn't really stealthy enough for these situations. It would be better if your profile was simply removed from their fiverr entirely (unable for them to find you or your previous messages, instead of getting a message saying "you can no longer contact this person").

  20. I've just taken a look at your gigs and the first thing you need to do is remove the stolen artwork of other artists' book covers from your profile. You didn't design those and using other people's work in your gig images is against Fiverr's terms and conditions and can get your account banned. Your work is not anything like the quality you are advertising which can only result in low reviews and eventually getting banned for false advertising and copyright infringement.
