  1. Thank you. But you know, if we Convert 10 days job to months, even with extensions, then it is not in favor of business. May be the best option is to analyze the buyer through earlier communications. But Those running Agencies and communicating with Buyers and Sellers can't be judged easily. Also they keep their budget in the mid level so you can't simply refuse their order.
  2. Thank you for your detailed response. We should stay firm and Say 'NO' if they exceed the work scope.
  3. Hello Everyone, Sometimes it isn't easy to finalize the Work scope in the Web development Category. I have had some bad experiences in Freelancing, but for the last few months, I have received several orders Where Buyers will come up with Simple design requirements. Then they will provide you with some complex website as a reference, and after you quote according to that price then, they will be like: No, Let's go with a simple and similar design. When It's Ready, they will keep revising it for two months, and at the end. They would want that complex website design. Sometimes Order will be automatically completed but still, we have to work a completely new project in the revisions. Mostly these type of buyers are outsourcers working as a web design agency where they would have 3-6 months to complete that project. These type of projects doesn't go in favor of gig ranking. Not sure how to avoid this?
  4. Ita a good try to educate a few, but a specific group of Sellers won't bother to read it. Only affectees would be reading it. Sometimes, They will come just to ask about suitable plugins for the required feature and pretend to be a buyer. If you respond to them nicely(out of courtesy), you must answer them for all their issues. We don't click spam to avoid issues with their account, but they won't understand it until someone does the same with them.
  5. This is how forum should be used. If someone do not have good looking gigs. He's already out of competition and can't get orders. but still we should guide him in a proper way.
  6. You know , Problem is here. I would suggest you to read this again and you may understand one day.
  7. There are many reasons you can create account before you sell anything. You can be a buyer, you may be wanted to sell other services but then you started learning other skills.
  8. Exactly, That is the same case with username. they don't select based on our username though it can have impact on some buyers.
  9. But is not against TOS to create account before he learn anything. He has not sold anything Yet. Once he learned that skill, He won't be able to change his username so it doens'make sense. Look at Top rated sellers, They come up with random names but they have improved their skills.
  10. That's Why there is an option to discuss the projects, put your requirements in the order. Buyers only hire when they are fully satisfied that one can deliver quality work. They demand samples.
  11. what if He has started learning this after he created his fiverr account? Then he should have create 2nd account? Other day someone was sharing his story that he do not have good gig image but he's PRO . How do you see that?
  12. Everyone is not the same. It is not a job where you are trained before you start work. We all have made mistakes, and that is how we learn. I am not sure if criticizing can make every other person perfect. some can disappoint and quit their careers. I know many people who are talented and have skills, but they are not good at freelancing and communication. Everyone gets their work at their capacity. no one would hire him if he's doing wrong but what is the issue if we just politely guide them or just ignore if it doesn't sound good? I don't want to learn what others like in food or TV shows but they keep on sharing here so what I call it? spam?
  13. How do you know he's spam?
  14. Yes, I am aware of that 🙂
  15. Hi Tushiba, Good luck with your business on Fiverr. So you are Social media Marketer so I hope it will help you get Orders on Fiverr by sharing your gigs on Social media. Basics remain same on all the Marketplaces so your experience is definitely going to help you here.
  16. If he Cancels it using the Resolution Center then there will be only mutual Cancellation option left if support doesn't cancel it. Isn't it? Also, If it is canceled then how can we overcome its effect?
  17. Thank you. My portfolio helps me get business. However, I think with TRS, business was more stable and had to adjust Prices slightly to stay in the competition. I was getting Orders with higher prices when I was TOP, but when demoted, I was not getting orders, So I have to lower my prices, and then I started receiving orders again.
  18. Sorry to hear this. I was also demoted a few months back(After 4-5 years ), so What I realized is that if We ever have any issue We should fix it right away with the help of CS otherwise it would be too late to go back and it will disturb the business. 2nd We should not share mail without notifying CS.
  19. They have to introduce 'Paro Seller' for them.
  20. That's Correct. But I have noticed that some experienced Buyers are aware of the impact of feedback and they use it as a threat sometimes if you refuse to do extra work in revisions. Absolutely! I think SEO needs more clarification because this is something Where you can't show them results in days.
  21. As a Top Rated Seller, It was easy to do business in 2015-2020, but things have changed significantly. Maybe it is because of more sellers, but one buyer can put you down for a couple of months. Some Categories have very clear Gig structures, but in Web development, There are many things that can lead to confusion. - It is very important to clarify what revisions would include. Sometimes It can lead you to offer extra work for free or a Cancellation. and Level demotion too. - If your client wants Extra work for free and you refuse to do that, You are going to get negative feedback. Thankfully, With the Zoom call option things are getting better.
  22. I got the response within 10 days with big NO 🙂
  23. Congratulations, but you always Confuse the Milestones 😄.
