Buyers don't read my descriptions Grrrr Would love seller option to accept or deny gig

So I have in my gig description in highlight for them to contact me before placing the gig so we can iron out what they are looking for and see if I can do it. They put the order in and a few times i had to cancel because they did not read my description well. I would like to have a feature added where if they place the order we can accept it or deny.

I had someone contact me about a month ago about some work I do. After asking some questions about what he needed done, turns out he wanted work I don’t offer. I asked him if he had read the gig description, of course he hadn’t. I told him that if he had, he would have seen that I don’t offer what he was asking. His reply was “why didn’t you tell me that in the beginning. It would have saved us a lot of time.” My response was “I did, in the gig description.” I haven’t heard from the guy since.

I understand this situation. What if you were to add another slightly different Gig with a very limited description, without the “contact me before”, would that work or help expedite the process?

Or a separate gig for Consulting?
