Acknowledging buyers who are in your area

When you, as a seller, discover a buyer who if from your geographic area through a phone number, address or website listed in their script do you acknowledge that with the buyer?

Always, Helps build Rapport with the buyer, I have had lots from my general area and it always helps to make the transaction go a little smoother

I nearly always do. I haven’t really thought much about it impacting my transactions, like @ozzieuk said, but who knows? It may! I usually acknowledge it more because of all the people in the world using Fiverr, it’s kind of cool to accidentally run into someone who is located so close. A few times, I’ve gotten orders from people who were actually in the same city as me, probably just a few miles away from where I was sitting. I thought that was pretty neat! 🙂
