When to ask for money

Hello, I am Arya, I am new to fiverr. I got a message from a buyer, he asked me to build a affiliate website, when should I ask him for payment (before making the website or after making it)?

Do not work on an "order" if an order hasn't even been placed. There are numerous scammers who love taking advantage of new/desperate/unaware sellers, receive free work, then ghost the seller completely.

It would be a prudent idea to learn the fundamentals of how selling and orders work on the platform before you find yourself being exploited.

You don't ask for money. They have to place an order through the Fiverr site and pay. Then, when you complete the job and deliver it on that order page, you get the money they paid for the service. Never do work without an official order here.
