I don't think 4-5 days are a huge gap. Stay positive, and apply the basic. Yeah use buyer request section as your badge will automatically put you on the front seat in the competition. 

You can also use social media to brag about your services to relevant potential buyers. 

 

Tip: don't spam social media by posting your gig's link all over the place though.
