Setting Your Availability

What's everyone's experience with the 'Setting Your Availability' feature?

I remember when it was Out Of Office, and at one point I used it every weekend to take time off. Then after a few weeks of doing this all my gigs bombed and it's put me off using it ever since. I now pretty much work 7 days a week. I'll do less hours on the weekend but it would be nice to take an occasional bit of time off. I just don't feel it'll be worth it if sales drop over a period of time.

Whenever I use this, my gigs take about 3-5 days to recover back to normal activity rates. I haven't noticed any slow descent over time. However, my experience may not be yours, of course. If you need a break, you need a break, though.
