Laptops and Software for Voice Overs

Just curious what laptops and software others are using for voice overs? My laptop broke so I’m in the hunt for another. Any suggestions?

I've never been a laptop kind of guy, but been doing VO for over 20 years. I've got 2 PCs running Win XP with AA and Echo Layla interfaces, and 1 PC running Win 7, 64 with AA, AP, Pro Tools and an Echo Layla Interface. My son uses a Mac laptop for video editing and it's pretty fast.
