Anyone who started out on Fiverr as a new seller recently?

Let me know your journey so far. The setbacks, how you got through it, what helped you and the techniques you used to get orders to your gig.

Let me know your journey so far.

My journey has been five years long so far. That is far too much to write about here.

The setbacks, how you got through it

As @levente_gl noted, my experiences aren’t likely to he helpful for you, because you won’t be experiencing what I experienced. Your path is your own. Don’t compare yourself to others, because everyone takes a different path. You are going to have to learn from your experiences, just as we veteran sellers have learned from ours.

what helped you

The materials Fiverr has published, and the advice of others originally helped me in my beginning as a seller here on Fiverr. They can help you as well.

the techniques you used to get orders to your gig.

Again, you’re going to have to research, determine, and figure out what works for you. We cannot provide the answers you seek, because our path to success will not be the same as your path to success. I can say, though, research your target consumer audience, figure out what they need and how you can solve those needs, and then express what you learned to your customers in order to convince them to hire you. That is how you earn orders – in any business.

I’m new on Fiverr.
Starting out with prior selling/marketing experience.
I’ve read a lot of material, here on Fiverr forum and elsewhere.
I’m online often and constantly check for any requests.
It can be tough with all of the competition.

Just find a good niche and be better than anyone else at it.
Showcase it better. Have better written documentation.
Market yourself elsewhere. Social media etc.
Expand your brand. Good communication.

And read some posts of other people on the forum.
Good luck!
