Video Editing - Fading Video & Audio?

Hi Guys. I am putting together gigs for Explainers, and intro Videos etc. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a software that will fade the audio and video at the beginning and end of the video.

I tried Windows Movie Maker but it doesn’t work with MP4. I downloaded the Davinci Resolve Software but it does way more than I need it to and I think it will be hard on my pc. I only need something simple to fade audio and video. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Try Adobe Premiere Elements or Sony Vegas etc. Unless there’s an option in your explainer video software. For free you could check Hitfilm 4 Express.
