The Five Dollar Movie: A new documentary about Fiverr

Hey guys,



I’m a documentary maker from the UK but based out in Shanghai, China and am currently working on ‘The Five Dollar Movie’, a documentary about the users of the website Fiverr - i.e. you guys!



We just launched on Kickstarter today, where there is a 3 minute video explaining the concept behind the film (please excuse the blatant self promotion).

I’m reaching out to you now because i’m interested in hearing your stories. I want to find out what drives this community. What kind of money are people making from selling such low-cost services? Is this movement re-defining the price point for creativity?

This is a great concept. I see so many manuals and so many blogs (like my own) about Fiverr. The only thing I have never actually seen is a real documentary about Fiverr. I would love to see something like this created. I would love to be a part of this possibly.
