  1. Hello! I am a New Seller on Fiverr. Recently I completed an order and after the completion, Fiverr asked me to verify my ID. I have thoroughly checked for a clear picture of my ID and Face Picture for submission but every time I get rejected. After the 3rd time, my account was temporarily disabled. Now please suggest to me how can I get my ID back so I can start working again. Thank you.
  2. The quality of the picture of your document was low, so they couldn't verify. Try contacting support@fiverr.com and try to get another opportunity from them.

I have today received a message on the official fiverr message board advising my account is blocked until I input my bank account details including my CVC code, I didn't do it and think this is a Scam, can anyone confirm please. I did go to the QR code on my phone, is this a security violation and do I need to change my password. Please help as unsure what to do I am very new to Fiverr Oh and hello all I wish you well and hope to spend many a happy year here If people have been scammed take screenshots of everything and contact your bank immediately, so anyone that has entered their details to the QR site, you have given your details to scammers by contacting your bank immediately they can freeze your account if you do it in time. I have clicked back on he message and by clicking on the user you can see the account has no responses and was created in May 24 so if you do receive messages again, click on where it says fiverr support and it will give you a clue as to if the message is real or a scam

I received what appeared to be a legitimate message from Fiverr Support asking me to verify a payment due to suspicious activity on my account. Initially, it seemed legitimate, especially considering the swift response from Fiverr Support. However, upon closer inspection, I noticed red flags. The message requested my email stating that "Fiverr" was holding a payment before confirmation. Additionally, I was instructed to verify transaction details to receive funds. This raised suspicions as I know that legitimate transactions on Fiverr do not require divulging sensitive information like payment card numbers or CVV2 codes. Realizing the potential threat, I decided to investigate further online and stumbled upon similar reports of fraudulent activities targeting Fiverr users. It's evident that scammers are impersonating Fiverr Support and sending phishing messages to deceive unsuspecting users. I consider myself fortunate not to have fallen victim to this scam. However, it's crucial to raise awareness within our community as many others may not be as vigilant. Always remember to scrutinize messages carefully, checking domain names and verifying the authenticity of requests. Legitimate transactions on Fiverr should always be conducted within the platform, with no need to disclose sensitive financial information.   6. Hello there! Please help me. Actually after I gave the front part a photo of my ID card. In the second part, instead of submitting my selfie photo, I submitted the back photo of the ID card. Then the account is temporarily restricted after submission. After researching I realized it was my mistake. After contact with customer support they dont give me another chance and also i am not getting answer after one answer. they told me this is final decision fiverr customer support cant change it. My ID and billing information are all valid, so i think if i not back this account so can i create another account use this government id for verification and is it possible. please help me customer support . please help me @Kesha @Lena Regards Shahidul41
  7. It seems like there's a new scam-bot going around. I did scan the QR code, and after that it asks you to verify your bank details, didn't do that obviously. So please be cautious, especially as a new seller.

  9. In theory, everyone will be required to verify their ID at some point. But it will take time. I hope you have reported that seller to Customer Support.
  10. so I got a popup asking to verify my identity, so I click on ‘verify ID’, link is sent to my cellphone, but when I tap on the link provided, I am shown ‘verify your identity’ page again, stuck in a loop. Any advice on this appreciated if any experience similar.

Hello asraful, please do understand, birth registration or certificate isn't a valid id, until you have a valid id, like smart NID, or the the passport you won't be able to verify your indentity on fiverr, when the verification process come around, if your are unable to provide these necessary documents your fiverr can be disabled by fiverr.
  12. Hello sir I am Kazi Asraful Alom Rabbe I want to apply with birth registration as I don't have Bangladesh National Identity Card NID card. I applied for NID card and I will get it within three to four months. I will apply for passport when I get NID card. My request is to give me permission to upload the gig. I want to continue the work now. Because I want to teach and learn a lot. Stop me for payment if not verify with NID card. Only now give me the permission to upload the gig.

While I don't know the answer to this, I do know the answer to the next questions: Fiverr used to verify Pro sellers (you can recognize them by the blue Pro badge next to their username on their profile page), but that's no longer the case (and even with verified Pro sellers things weren't always the way they should be). In other words, you can be certain that Fiverr didn't verify the seller, their skills, whether they are who they say they are (there are phone and ID verification, but those can be faked)... So you need to be very careful when choosing the seller, especially if you're going to give them access to something sensitive. And make a backup of everything, just in case.

I am a level 2 seller with more than 130 five stars rank working on Fiver for 3 years without any problem. , Fiverr recently asked for ID verification, Unfortunately, after three attempts to verify my identity, my account was restricted😔The first time there was a problem with the quality of the photo, and the second and third times I was informed that I should use another ID card. ----------------- Update: This is an old topic, My ID is verified !
  16. Instead of just expecting everyone to decipher the wall of legalese TOS, maybe Fiverr should think about throwing up a warning about scams that misuse the Fiverr brand. This scam has been making the rounds for a while, and plenty of sellers have fallen right into it. When your brand is getting abused like that, it's on you to step up and make sure sellers know what's up in a clear, no-nonsense way. May I suggest a message at the top of the inbox, letting sellers know that any request for their credit card info isn't coming from Fiverr? Here, I'll even write it for you: "Fiverr support or Fiverr staff will never ask you to provide your credit card information or to use such information to verify your Fiverr account." P.S. Support might not contact you through chat, but Fiverr staff certainly do, including your editorial team. P.S.S. You're still allowing scammers to use "Support" and "Fiverr" in their usernames. 🙃
  17. please wait till they reach out with a solution, I faced a same issue but fiverr support gave me an another chance to verify my ID again, after proper verification my id was up and running as expected. Did fiverr support leave a response on your end?
  18. I have one fiverr account and am trying to verify my number but it keeps saying it's registered to another account. It is not. I have 2 emails and only one fiverr account. I have a feeling not being verified is why my gigs are stuck in drafts which is infuriating. What can I do? I tried opening a support ticket and it did nothing to help. Thanks
  19. twenty days ago my Fiverr account was restricted due to ID verification failure. I told Fiverr due to camera issue I was unable to verify my ID, I requested them kindly give me one more chance so that I verify my ID using the new camera device. I also told them I had not violated any Fiverr TOS, I don't understand the Fiverr decision why my account restricted and temporarily disabled. It has been twenty days i requested many times please give me another chance so that I verify my ID and continue my Fiverr journey. fiver not giving me a chance yet.

  21. Dear, You need to verify your Phone Number. Have you received code to verify your phone number? If not do it! Then click on the Gig Publishing! It will be solved! Best Wishes

  24. Hi, I recently joined Fiverr for the first time and was creating my first gig. However, during the final steps, it asked me to verify my identity. I followed the steps, but unfortunately, it failed, and my account started displaying the following error at the top: Your account is temporarily disabled. Please check the email we sent you explaining what happened. --- Email :- We couldn’t verify your information Dear faraz_thedev, We weren’t able to verify your personal and business information, therefore your account has been restricted. You are still able to complete any active orders and communicate with buyers or freelancers who are part of that order, but cannot place or receive new ones. In addition you will not be able to publish any Gigs. If you have any additional questions you can reach out to our Customer Support team. I recieved an email that says "we cannot approve your seller profile " and Honestly I don't know why I got rejected from the seller program in this month I created my fiverr account, I added a picture, description, experiences, certifications and everything, my personal informations were confirmed by a 100% rate and today when I wanted to create my first Gig I was asked to verify my identity by sending a copy of my Id card. and that's okay until now everything is fine but today after two hours from creating my first Gig I got this email. I dont know why exactly I got rejected, is it a rule i didn't respect or what kind of violation I did. Can someone please help to solve this problem.
