  1. Hi guys, I am a social media manager. I create content and post on customers social media. I am fairly new to fiverr. So far customers have provided me with log in details. This time, a customer wants to give me access to facebook business suite and needs my email address. I'm sure this is against Fiverr policy. What can I do? Also, I read somewhere that as long as its part of delivering the order, it is fine to do in the order chat. However I was a bit silly and forgot to ask the customer during the order. I completed the order upon creating the content and payment is taken once I'm ready to upload. I read you cannot give email in the normal chat inbox but I cant communicate with the customer in the order chat anymore because the order is completed. can anyone help?
  2. When I click on the link you've given, it does not take me to your gig.
  3. Sorry to hear about this. This must be very upsetting. Something similar happened to me a few weeks ago. I know how you must be feeling at the moment. I hope you're able to resolve this.
  4. Thanks for sharing. I think being able to say no to a gig is important and for some it might be counter intuitive and challenging. But I really believe it would be the best thing to do in certain situations. Taking a break and time away from the screen is cruicial. Perhaps going for a quick walk outside every hour/2hours would be helpful as well.
  5. Hello everyone, hope you're all having good holidays. I have a question and I'm sure some other people will find answers to this question helpful as well. Its about balancing multiple Fiverr gigs and the challenge that comes with it. What time management strategies, tools, or other methods do you use to ensure timely delivery without compromising quality? 🙂
  6. I made a thread about this a couple of weeks ago. There are some very interesting replies there from long term Fiverr users who have been through many holiday periods on fiverr. It's worth a check. You can find it here: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/319497-christmas-period-on-fiverr/#comment-1998822
  7. You were able to remove negative reviews? Hmmm that's interesting.
  8. Where did you recieve this please?
  9. One advice I'll give to sellers which is not just for Fiverr, but generally whatever task you do...there's a lot out of one individuals control...the only thing you can do is do the very basics as best as you can and the rest is out of your hands. On Fiverr, those basics would be quality of your work/customer service/honesty and integrity/creative ways to promote your gigs. So on Fiverr, if there are changes...don't spend too much time thinking about them. Keep going and keep doing the basics right, daily. Of course changes can bring trouble your way but reward usually follows if the little things are done as best as one can. It's the principles of life and principles of anything else...including Fiverr.
  10. That's very interesting. Thanks for sharing. January I understand being busy. December...I guess some people who like to plan ahead would start in December so they're ready to go soon as the new year begins.
  11. It depends, with social media if you have long term standing customers...who pay you on a monthly on going basis to manage their social media accounts...they'll use your service through out the year. I think I should rephrase my initial post and make it about getting "new" customers during holiday period. My personal feeling is that most business owners are in the holiday mood and are more likely to be thinking about their business after new year. Generally speaking. Like someone said above...most businesses will be thinking about wrapping up the year.
  12. Yeh, I imagine generally it is slower for majority of people, however some select niche services may do better during Xmas period. Things like social media, websites etc I have a feeling might be slower as more people feel motivated to start a new business or make changes to their branding after the new year.
  13. Erm okay yeh optimissm is fine but there are external factors that are reality. Such as market demands during certain times in the year. So I just wanted to know from those with past experience about the impacts of the holiday period on Fiverr.
  14. Hey guys, I have a question that I want to ask people that have been on Fiverr for a number of years and I'm sure a lot of newer users would find useful to know as well....what is it usually like on Fiverr during Christmas/New Year period? Is it slow for orders or normal? Or better?
  15. I'm not sure but it seems you're back at square one and would have to start from scratch again. Since you thrived previously, surely you can apply the same strategies again? It might take a bit of time but atleast you know they work, right?
  16. Have you seen any increase in impressions or orders since you got level one?
  17. Wow that's a pretty fast rise. Nice job.
  18. Yeh it was. I remember using Fiverr to buy things for $5 back in the day.
  19. That's the apparent beauty of these websites. They are mobile friendly. However I don't know the answer to your second point. Maybe someone else here knows if they slow down your phone or not.
  20. Thanks. What about prices. Do you think prices offered on gigs has decreased or has it always been similar?
  21. Hey all you web developers. What do you think about the 3d interactive websites? You reckon there's demand for these on Fiverr? I'm personally not going to be making/selling these because it's not my area of expertise but I do want to have one made for myself.
