I'm learning the basics now on the interface but is there a way to get a local development Shopify site up? Would you use the Shopify CLI? Would that allow me to design and build a local storefront? Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

I downloaded OBS and watched a few videos on it. I also downloaded Shotcut to do edits but I haven't learned how to use it yet.

So many briefs I get are about setting up WordPress with Adsense. I don't mention that plugin in my WordPress gigs so wat is going on? And a lot of the time it's about getting approval.

I have limited funds. Can you recommend a free source for creating a video? And would it be okay if it is just a screen capture type of video rather than using my laptop camera to appear in the video?

I had a buyer buy multiple orders from me and he either used a super generic review or repeated his former review text. Nothing I could do about that

Yes, I have not had an order for over a month.

On my Earnings page on the Overview tab. But listen, this is only my 4th order so I'm not working with a lot of data. I did notice lower on the page that it shows clearing in 5 days as donnovan86 mentioned above so I guess all is good.

Ok, but why is it still showing Coming Soon? It bothers me that it takes 21 days to clear but I can live with that if I see that message. I have no idea what day I will be able to transfer the funds.

FYI, it would be "herself" since it's a woman. So should I contact her to make sure she did that?

I helped someone over a week ago and the buyer created the order herself and I completed it in a few hours. The order was started and completed on Thursday 16th. Why are my earnings not showing as clearing in 21 days? Did the buyer do something wrong or is there something that the buyer has not done? This is ridiculous because I think it will be 21 days after the payment shows. Is there anything I can do? Why is this taking so long? Is Fiverr not picking up that the order is completed? How can I check to make sure that I completed the order in Fiverr's eyes? Any ideas or tips on how to fix this would be much appreciated.

I just posted something about documents uploaded by potential clients and the replies were: "Yes, Fiverr scans them". Which is it? They ARE safe or they are NOT safe? How are you supposed to determine "people you don't trust" vs people you trust? Also, you have to give your email address to get access to the WordPress admin area if you are doing WordPress work.

I got a request from a client yesterday who just asked me what I thought about his proposal but he did not write the proposal. He instead attached a document for me to download. I checked his profile and he is a new user to Fiverr, so I did not download the document. Was that a mistake? Does Fiverr scan the docs so that you do not download a file that has a virus or bug in it?

I found a plugin in Figma called icns/ico Generator. I used it to download an SVG as ICO in 128, 256 and I think I got 64. I got cut off by Fiverr because I reached the max 5 posts per day. You can check out my Figma design here.

@youki5000 What do you mean you tested it? Tested what? Your original SVG design or ICO versions of your original SVG design? And where did you test it? I assume ICO format is vector. Can it be either raster or vector? Let me read some of the articles I found test it with Inkscape test it with Figma And I'll get back to you...

I have at least 1 gig that shows a numbered list (1., 2., etc) but other gigs do not show the numbers even though I used that icon to enter a list. I also used the highlight icon on 2 sentences but that did not show either. Why is that? Is it because I was close to the 1200-character cutoff? It could be that your gig needs to be refactored since you changed the keywords, but don't quote me on that. I created a JavaScript project and without any SEO it ranked 17th in Google search results - that shocked me. So I added a meta description and all of a sudden it tanked - I could not even find it in the search results. Eventually, it returned to its original position. By the way, how did you go about doing SEO research on your gig?

I'm waiting for my payment to clear on the 31st but why am I not seeing the testimonial from my client? Does that also wait for the payment to clear? If not I'm thinking the client did something wrong when submitting the testimonial. I only have 2 testimonials so I could use the 3rd one to help my profile stand out.

Why don't you convert it to ICO in Inkscape? I just searched for "How to turn an inkscape svg file into ico" and found a number of results. I also use Inkscape but I am not a designer. I could try it for you and If I can't do it we could mutually cancel the order. I could also try it in Figma - I found results searching for "How to turn an svg file into ico in figma". What are you using the ico files for? Let me try to do it in both Inkscape and Figma on one of my SVG files and I'll get back to you. Jim

I had a buyer contact me for a gig. We messaged back and forth and then late last night I got a message that I have an order. When I woke up I saw an email from Fiverr saying I had less than 12 hours left. I never created the order. I saw the order with a price of $15, then the buyer asked me how much. I said "How about $50?" since it sounded like I was going to have to investigate the cause of the problem, then undo it. I expected the buyer to either accept or ask for a different rate, but then they said that it was too much and that they were going away and to cancel the order. But I never created the order so I can't cancel it. I created a ticked via the "Resolution Center". So how can a buyer create an order without my approval?

No one has a comment or anything to add?

I want to take a test I passed to try and get a higher score, but I fear if your 2nd passing grade is lower than the first one the lower score gets displayed. I would think that the higher score would always be displayed, but I want to make sure it is not the most recent one. And then there is the possibility of failing the test the 2nd time. Has anyone taken a test more than once and passed each time? What result did you see?
