  1. I got 2 4-Star reviews recently, and I think that might be the issue why I am not eligible any more, but is it really that dire? Why am I even paying for this feature when I have to be "eligible" for it? What exactly are the criteria?
  2. Pretty sure it's just luck and no one knows really.
  3. Why not? I also have been on the first page with my gig before.
  4. Not here anyway. No spamming please.
  5. I'd love some feedback on my profile and my gigs. What stands out good, what is bad? Want to know what to keep and what to change. Main objective: Get more impressions (again). I kind of dropped out of Fiverr's focus for some reason. Need to get back on track. I just added a few new gigs and tried to be more specific and less broad. Tried a few different styles for profile texts and gig images.
  6. That sounds great. Good job on that one, mate. Hopefully it carries far into the future. Not gonna lie, I am a little jealous of your achievement.
  7. Sounds very odd to me. Have you attentively read the fiverr policies, gig rules, regulations etc and compared it to your profile and post? There must be some major violation, although I am just guessing. When you have done all of that and see no issue, contact the customer support and maybe they can help.
  8. Just wondering what people expect from it? I am active on many other forums, but only here I get loads of reactions all the time for all sorts of comments. I think it's the only forum where every post and every reply received a reaction, and I am not the only one as every other reply here has loads of reactions, too. Did I miss something? Is this about self promoting? Very curious.
  9. I have two main gigs at the moment, the data entry one and the webcrawler. I wonder how I can improve them to get better impressions again? They kind of dropped, especially the webcrawler gig is at an alltime low and doesn't even make 50 impressions a day since a few months now. I had some deliveries in the mean time and the clients left good reviews, when they ordered but they didn't find the gig through the search, I sold the orders after a brief conversation with the clients that came to me through a different gig. Not sure what happened for them to drop and stay low. The data entry one goes down to a few hundred for a few weeks then goes back up to 1-2k a day, which is not optimal and I'd like to improve it, but normal. The webcrawler doesn't fluctuate at all, which is worrying me. Any feedback is welcome.
  10. So nothing changes when you hit level 1 seller? Except "client trust"?
  11. As a freelancer you can set your own prices, and people will always haggle. But in my experience, the ones that try to haggle you down, will give you more problems later on. It's never good to be the most expensive seller on the market, but it's not good to be the lowest one either. Pick something in the middlefield and let your clients know, that if they pay peanuts they will hire monkeys.
  12. I was wondering how other sellers offer B2B leads in the thousands with extensive data as in contact persons, phone numbers etc. I assume they are signed up to Crunchbase or similar and just sell the results from there? The memberships are very expensive so it makes sense that a buyer might want to skip signing up just for a few thousand leads, but a seller could have many buyers so that it's profitable. Is that the case? If not, how else are they building their leads? Just curious about how this works.
  13. Yes, me, too. My profile is back on track again, too. Getting impressions again and even briefs (whcih I never got before, just shows how badly my profile was damaged).
  14. The client ordered from me before and we completed a few smaller jobs together, when he had a massive project and offered 2000USD for my expertise. That is an enormous amount of money for a singular job to me, and it made me feel so happy that someone thinks I am trustworthy and competent enough for a job this scale. I gave myself 2 weeks time and a lot of things went wrong suddenly, but I managed to find solutions for the issues and delivered still within in the deadline. Thinking "there is probably something I missed" all the time, I finally got a relief when the delivery was accepted. No comments from the client so far, but usually he pipes up when he needs an alteration or something seems mixed up et cetera. Very happy everything is okay! Very happy. And to think I thought my time on fiverr was over 🙂
  15. Hello then, it is sometimes dog-eat-dog in the world of highly competitive freelancing, but I found most people here in the forums are very nice and helpful 🙂 Don't be afraid to ask a question if you need help with something.
  16. You sure that wouldn't work? I am THIS close to getting Edgar the cigar smoking bulldog with a bowler hat. THIS CLOSE. 😄 Bit clueless what to do, might let a creative fiverr guy do it for me. 😄
  17. I got one video up, but it's not very interesting. Just shows a program running smoothly (after hours of not doing that though.). What sort of video were you thinking? Dramatic music, a bulldog, comedy and actors? Car sales ad, but me with a laptop and program open instead of cars for the LOW LOW LOWEST prices?
  18. Oh, I am fun to work with. Sometimes I crack open a beer during work 😄 But I am thinking of doing a cover picture for my portfolio in the style of my gigs pictures. I think they stand out and have bright and lively colours.
  19. Thanks you! Glad it's not as awful as I thought it might be. I am already thinking about adding more pictures with deliveries, and maybe structure my portfolio like yours. Although I am not sure if that is a good approach for me, as my portfolio (and deliveries) are not very diverse. It's usually just manual research or webcrawlers for the moment. I plan to expand within the next year or so, but need to get proficient first at the other gigs, that I am thinking of. What I meant is tht the biggest hurdle for a new seller or someone burried on the last page or something, is that no one even clicks on your profile in the first place. You can have the most convincing portfolio, but if no one clicks your profile, no one is going tosee it.
  20. Fancy seeing you again haha. Okay, I can see your portfolio, and it looks really nice Might have to redo mine, because as a bloke, I am too pragmatic to be visually engaging. Have a look at my portfolio and tell me what you think then, if you want? Anyway. How did the buyers find your portfolio? They must click on your profile first to even see it, or is there somewhere for them to see it?
  21. Ah okay, if you don't have a portfolio, I can't see it. Makes sense. Sorry for not reading that right.
