  1. At least two thirds of the problem is that the people crowing 'optimize' are actually parrots, and don't actually know what they're talking about. At least a quarter of the problem is that 'guides' tend to over focus on a handful of services that don't apply or translate properly to other services. The remainder are probably either too vague or outdated. For example: Jun of 2016 https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/84986-improve-my-gig-checklist/ March of 2020 https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/195299-basics-to-improve-your-gig-a-helpful-breakdown-and-guide/ Glanced at your profile. You have a LOT of competition. I don't know your service, but, personally, I'm rather put off by the fake voiceover.
  2. Click the link at the end of the article. It'll take you to the page where you can check if your gigs are active on the back-end.
  3. Active from your "Gigs" page, or active in the Help Center page? There is a difference. https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011028318-Managing-your-Gigs
  4. Never mind the DMCA. I'm pretty sure it won't work for website work. You might just have to take this as a loss and a lesson. If Fiverr canceled, and not the Buyer, then there's likely a reason. You can try to reach out to Fiverr support with proof that the work is being used, as long as you did the work in-full and to the quality level you show in your gigs.
  5. Not enough information. Was the order complete to the specifications of the contract? Was it actually support that cancelled and not the Buyer using a chargeback? You might be able to go the DMCA route. (As long as it's not AI, since AI has no protection.)
  6. That's it? You don't have any other skills?
  7. Competition has double to tripled since you last made a sale. In order to compete in this new market, you have to have better than average skill at the service you are offering, or be more assertive in acquiring your own clients.

  9. Do you have a genre you can narrow it down to? Both jazz and classical are instrumental, but have completely different sounds. Something that might help, is asking the Sellers who turn you down if they know of another Seller they'd maybe recommend.

  14. Um... what? Okay, I think you've misunderstood me. What you think I said is clearly different from what I was attempting to communicate. Please help me understand what you read in what I wrote. Edit: Posting on the forum is not marketing. https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010490438-The-How-Tos-Of-Advertising-Off-The-Fiverr-Platform
  15. Can't. Fiverr is designed for digital services. Yes, there are a few services that involve goods, and the local photography category, but there is NO method of down payment. Talk directly to local travel agencies and local businesses, hotels maybe. If your location is a tourist destination, you'll need to make local connections.

  17. There's more than one kind of scam. Identity theft and/or account theft doesn't care how much money you have.
  18. The point of the forum is reading and information gathering, and learning. Expecting to build your gig statistics via the forum is like going into a bookstore looking for pizza, or a library for a hamburger, or a school classroom seeking a taco. You can learn how to make pizza and burgers and tacos, if you seek the right section or books or teachers, but you're HIGHLY unlikely to find food itself.

  20. No one here can tell you what to sell, because no one here knows what you are good at.
  21. It might seem low in comparison to some, but that's a very, very small 'some'. I assure you, getting any orders, especially in a super-competitive category like shirt design (28,777 services available), is very good. Your niche is on the smaller side too (comparatively), both in supply and demand (sellers and buyers), so that you've gotten orders at all is fantastic. Could it be better? Yes, but that's why it's a good idea to have a presence on multiple freelancing platforms. As for your gigs, the samples are very tiny, and hard to see at thumbnail size, which is how people will first see them in the search results.
  22. I don't see any gigs on your profile.
  23. Quote: "In the marketplace, a Gig's position is based on the seller’s performance over a set period. Gig positions are not permanent and can rotate daily." Source: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011028318-Managing-your-Gigs You're a marketer, according to your profile. Market yourself.
  24. The timing to the music is great, and most of the clips are better than many I've seen, but there are some that really clash. The following is just my opinion, and not necessarily indicative of what a real buyer might look for. The word 'typo' at the 0:05 mark is a weird choice for a sample, especially that font and animation with color changes. At 0:19, the choice of pivot point seems odd. At 0:30 the black text in white boxes feels amature, and the text size isn't consistent between the two boxes. At 0:53 it's way too dark, I had to watch it again to see that it wasn't just a black screen. The segment right after at 0:57 to 0:1:05, though the syncing is good, is too drawn out for just five words, without something else to look at. Please take this as constructive criticism. As I mentioned, the syncing through the whole thing is great. https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/148025-level-1-hell-pass-the-test-new-sellers/
  25. Firstly, gig statistics only update once a day, at 0000-GMT. If you are editing your gigs around that time, i can see how you may have attributed a false correlation. In general, only edit your gigs when needed, as Fiverr removes them from search while any changes you made are verified. I noticed you took the Learn course, so thats a good start. Be aware, though, that it's a bit old, and Fiverr has changed a bit in layout. Your profile description is a bit long, I'd consider leaving out the schooling bits, as they're not related to the gig service you are offering. Fiverr has changed how gig pages look on desktop, with a Seller's profile description appearing before the gig. One of the highlighed words in your gig description is a typo, and I spotted another typo in one ofyour gig images. On the topic of highlighting sections of description, it looks rather tacky, especially since the images are mostly rather nice. --- By the way, welcome to the forums. I'd highly recommend reading these: https://community.fiverr.com/forum_rules/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/278683-new-to-the-forum-welcome-here-are-5-tips-for-efficient-forum-use-–-how-to-make-the-forum-work-better-for-yourself-and-for-everyone/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/282146-how-to-be-successful-on-fiverr-common-questions-answered-and-a-collection-of-great-posts-that-helped-me-achieve-trs/
