  1. 16 days later, I never got my Payoneer option back and am just doing it via Paypal now. Ironically, Payoneer's stubborn refusal to help me has now cost them a customer, as they are no longer getting $1/transaction from me. I repeatedly hd both Payoneer and Fiverr tell me it was the other company's problem and that I needed to let them know that.
  2. Been on CS with Fiverr and Payoneer the last hour. Payoneer refuses to take any blame for it. Fiverr says it was a technical glitchthat didn't allow me to withdraw the money, but now I have to wait another 24 hours to withdraw via Payoneer again. Nobody can tell me why it happened, or why it falls to me to fix it.
  3. I just followed up because it's been 24 hours without the magic email. Yesterday I added Paypal as a second option and it is now available for withdrawals, but using it is going to take more of my money away. I'd much rather just have my previous Payoneer option restored, it was very reliable.
  4. So far the only response I've received is "wait for an email from Fiverr to resolve this message." I went on Payoneer and was told my account had been closed due to inactivity ,even though I've been making withdraws from there at last once per week for the last 5 years. When I told that to the Payoneer CS agent, he told me that "it was the decision of another manager" and he could help me start a new Payoneer account, but that was only to pay people not to get funds from Fiverr. Really disappointing on both ends with the responses so far.
  5. Been a member since 2018, never seen this issue before. When I went to withdraw my available balance today, my typical withdrawal button was grayed out and I can't click it. Have not been any changes to my bank account and I don't have any flags on my Fiverr account. I submitted a ticket request for assistance, but wanted to see if anyone had any insight. TIA i
  6. On the third job with the same client. Our convo for the first 2 jobs has disappeared. The convo for the 2nd job had a vital link I need to do the job. How do I refind these old messages? TIA
  7. I know. That's about the only solace I have is that it's a "we" problem, not a "me" problem. Otherwise I'd feel like I had done something catastrophically wrong. I hate having no answer for my wife as to why my income has fallen so badly week to week and month to month. July '23 was the lowest I've made on Fiverr since I started in 2019. And they offer no answers.
  8. My year-over-year sales are down 52% from 2022, so whatever search functions they've changed, have been a massive fail.
  9. Use an onboarding course that they have to pass a quiz at the end of to prove they understand how to use the website. People who are here for legit reasons could do it in 5 minutes. People who aren't would give up.
  10. A new personal best for me. 17 people have contacted me in the last 24 hours wanting me to hire them for my own gig. Seventeen times that my app has buzzed and I think, "Yes! Finally business is picking back up." Seventeen times that it's been someone from India or Pakistan who has signed up with no idea what they are doing. FIX IT FIVERR
  11. I have had the exact same thing happen. From $8,000+ a month to not even $2,000 in July. And I had a 2-star review a few months ago. It is hard to believe that Fiverr lets one bad apple destroy your standings in its algorithm, but that appears to be the case and their customer support has zero power to change it, talk about it, or explain it. My May earnings rebounded because I contacted every single person I had worked for previously to see if they had anything for me, but my number of new inquiries - excepting those from India, Pakistan and Nigeria that usually say "give me work" are almost nil.

    Fiverr PRO 2.0

It is troubling but pretty par for the course that Fiverr's marketing emails make us all fear what the heck they're going to do next and go on deep dives of what the heck fairly normal phrases like "doubling down" mean. I just had my first big order in almost 6 weeks after being stuck in algorithm hell. My inner worrier wonders if my fortunes are turning around just in time for them to come out with some bizarre scheme that jumbles it all up. 🤐

    Fiverr PRO 2.0

It would be nice if the main search page had a much more prominent "hire a pro" feature other than the small slider.

    Fiverr PRO 2.0

It would definitely be disheartening if the update was lowering the standards of the Pro program to people who haven't even applied for it. it took several months for me to get vetted for it back in 2018 and my earnings on Fiverr from 2019 to the present have been a enormous factor in achieving several financial goals including purchasing a new home. I apparently don't have the mental capacity to understand how including more people into the program would increase the amount of customer traffic I receive. My clicks and orders have dropped precipitously over the last few months like a lot of people's, and Fiverr has gone from accounting from about 80% of my monthly income to maybe 25%. I hope the 2.0 rollout is actually an improvement for freelancers, but recent history does not have my hopes up.

    Fiverr PRO 2.0

Maybe the email was from an AI that has become self-aware inside of Fiverr's mainframe and anyone who goes to the onboarding will be terminated for replacement.
  16. Just had my 19th straight message from a newb to the site who doesn't know how to use it and thinks I'm going to hire them. The last one cussed me out after I told him what he was doing wrong and suggested he try reading the directions net time. Meanwhile, Fiverr's new algorithm or perhaps my 2-star review from 3 months ago having me making 70% less money than I did a year ago at this time. Wife about to kill me for the plunge in income. Good times, Fiverr, good times. 😣
  17. I decided to take a flyer and ask customer support at Fiverr about why I've gone from a ton of messages and jobs to virtually none. The response did not surprise me, nor should it surprise you. Denial of any sort of change in the algorithm and vagueness about how gigs are ranked. I bolded a couple of things I found interesting. Thank you for contacting us about this. I understand you'd like to know more about your Gigs' impressions and sales.I reviewed your Gigs and I can confirm that they are all active and searchable on our site. Your Gig impressions and sales are dependent on many different factors, including your seller statistics, performance, and additional internal factors. Fiverr does not guarantee impressions or sales for any Gig. We provide a marketplace for you to advertise your Gigs and leave you to find the best way to make them appealing and promote them outside of Fiverr to increase the number of impressions and clicks your Gig receives. If you keep providing the best possible services, I'm sure your Gig impressions will increase soon and sales will become a more often occurrence. As it concerns the algorithm, I can guarantee there are no issues with your Gig or it. The market can change and fluctuate, so can the need for a service and the sales can also be affected by it.
  18. I hate hearing that other strong freelancers are struggling on a platform that has been so good to us on average, but it is sort of gratifying to hear that it's not just me. I had a really good May, but only because I actively sought work on other platforms again. My highest income in a month on Fiverr this year is lower than any single month on Fiverr for me than any month except one in 2022, and before that, any month since November 2020. I attributed the decline in more freelancers entering the market and fewer people having time for freelance projects as things largely return to normal post-COVID. It is very defeating to think that Fiverr itself has put mechanics in place to lower my optics after all the $$ I've made for them the past few years. I did get a "Fiverr's choice" designation on a gig the other day, but not sure that's actually done anything for me so far.
  19. Thanks for that insight. How terribly depressing, though. Just another head scratcher, up there with "buyers can extend the review time but we're not going to tell you about it ... ever."
  20. What is the algorithm change? I"m curious because I had the worst 3 months I've been on FIverr (Feb-April) since joining in 2019 with no negative reviews or anything that seemed out of the ordinary. Would be really grateful to hear more about it!
  21. Upwork reduced its fees for newcomers to keep them interested, but is clearly hurting for income, so they shoved the dagger into the revenue of people who have long-term, established relationships on the site. For a couple of years I was down to just one client on Upwork who I work for about 4-5 months a year writing reports. We passed the $10,000 barrier years ago, which was the mark previously where Upwork dropped their cut from 10% to 5%. They have since realized that taking 20% of the first $500 was slaughtering their model and caused a mass exodus from the site, so they've reversed that, but also reversed the 5% back up to 10% as of the end of this year, because they figured out that's where the consistent money is. If I make the same income this year that I did last year from that one job, Upwork's policy change will cost me $500. Their cut is better than Fiverr's, but for all of Fiverr's spam problems, the Pro Plus program is still light years ahead of anything Upwork can offer. I've been truly active on Fiverr since 2019 and made double the money here that I've being on Upwork since 2013.
  22. Is there any way to curb the occasional flood of people, typically from Pakistan, although I know a lot of great freelancers from Pakistan, so I am not trying to offend, who sign up for Fiverr, contact freelancers, and send messages that say things like "give me work" and then demand to know our whats app number because they want to call us? I've gotten roughly 30-35 messages of this type in the past 5 days. It's always so exciting when the app beeps because I think I have a lead on a new client, but it's actually just another person who created their profile an hour ago and think my gig is an ad for a job because they didn't bother to read the directions. Is anyone else experience this? Should I just report them all as spam or what's the proper protocol?
  23. The user bab2to from Nigeria has sent me the same fake brief 43 times in the past 7 days. I got 8 of these fake briefs in a 4-hour span yesterday alone. They obviously aren't real and I've reported them as spam each and every time. Please put an end to this!
  24. When is this abomination going to end? The buyer gets to extend the time to review and Fiverr doesn't even bother sending us a notification????? I'm planning my budget week to week contingent on when jobs will be marked complete. I think that one will be finished today, but when I go check on it, I see the buyer has extended it from 3/29 to 4/3. Do I get a a heads up? Even a little beep on my profile? NOPE! NO WARNING AT ALL FROM FIVERR. Why do we get treated like such total garbage by a platform that we make so much money for?
  25. How much longer is this trial phase going to last? Is it ever even going to reach a point when sellers are notified that a buyer has extended the review time? That's probably the worst for me, I don't even get a simple notification saying "The buyer has added x days to the review period." Is it so hard to send me a notification letting me know that?
