  1. I recently got a message that was clearly spam. The person was trying to sell gold. I immediately just blocked them and marked i as spam without replying. however, it seems that since fiverr didn't automatically detect that it was spam, it now counts that is an unreplied to message.
  2. Currently on the promoted gigs page, the gig titles are truncated. In my case, the beginning of all of my gig titles and the photos are the same, so I cannot tell which of my 4 gigs is which because they all appear the same, so I have no way to know which one I am actually promoting without changing the name of a gig to make it stick out.
  3. Besides setting the price, there is nothing to setup to get briefs. I think its based on keywords that the buyer choses and the frequency of briefs is probably dependent on the service you provide as well. Some services are more prone to get briefs where others might be less likely. In my experience, briefs are a waste of time 99% of the time. They are usually people who have odd requests, are spamming, or the brief doesn't even pertain to the service I provide. I get multiple briefs as week and am a top rated and pro seller. I've done 1 order from a brief since the feature was added. I don't necessarily mind the feature since it's just more potential for work, but like buyer requests were like, typically they are populated by people who's requests are things more accomplished sellers would never take on either due to the service itself or the budget, so these buyers have no choice but to put out a mass distributed brief to find the few sellers that might be willing and able to do it, otherwise they could end up messaging a bunch of sellers and get rejected by all of them. It's at time saving strategy for buyers with out of the ordinary request or budgets, and therefore these orders are usually not the best projects to work on.
  4. Yeah and everyone one of them is short sighted and wrong. Most corporations are run by virtue signally idiots who just want want woke points from their twitter followers but don't actually poses any ability to think rationally. Just because someone does something bad, doesn't mean everyone should just follow suit so they can jump on the bandwagon. I guess if another country commits human rights violations, then we should all do it because others are doing it too, so it's ok. Maybe if a company decides that only people of a certain ethnicity can do business, we should be ok with that as long as more than one company does it. I mean who knew the only metric for determining if something was right or wrong was if others are also doing it.
  5. I'm sorry but everything you've said is completely wrong and shrouded in emotional platitudes. You cannot just treat innocent people poorly because you think by proxy it will get back at their government. The logic is ridiculous to say the least not to mention it's a completely ineffective strategy. This war cost nothing for putin and companies cutting ties with russia is not going to do anything but make putin more powerful. India and china are already filling the void let behind by wester countries. People like you just live in this idealistic world where things don't actually work the way they real world. You cannot stop russian people from having to pay taxes and have a functioning economy unless you want to starve everyone who lives there, so targeting every day services as some attempt to get putin is dumb and will have zero effect. It will be about as effective as covid lockdowns that literally did nothing but harm people for 0 benefit. This is the same way. People from all over the world are going to lose lots of money, and russian people will become even more dependent on their government. This move is extremely short sighted and indidicative of people with low IQ's and who make emotional decisions, not rational ones. Now please save your selective outrage from someone and some place else.
  6. I really hope Fiverr gets major sued for this and loses millions. Yeah those are empty words coming from a person who's company just banned an entire country/ethinics group from earning a living and doing business on their website. How your CEO sleeps at night is beyond me. Must be a really morally corrupt person or a really stupid one.
  7. What about supporting russian citizens who got banned and can no longer support their families, I'd like to support them just as much since they are also victims of this war.
  8. Hopefully @mjensen415it's already becoming abundantly clear that nobody supports this decision to ban russians. Not even people like myself who are from countries who don't have good relationships with russia. I truly hope this decision will be reversed quickly because I terrible for the russian people who make a living through this site, some of which have family in ukraine that they can't send money to. I can only image my own situation if fiver just cut me off tomorrow because they didn't like what my government did who I probably don't even support. So yes, please make sure pressure is put on management because this was one of the worst decisions fiverr has ever made and it's going to seriously hurt their reputation. No company should be boycotting russian citizens or discriminating against anyone because of the country they come from.
  9. Ok then Americans, Chinese, French, Saudi's, Iraqi's, Japanse, germans, north koreans, africans, or anyone who comes from a country who has started a war, dropped a bomb, or committed human rights violations should be shunned from global society because that's totally in the spirit of #lovepeaceunderstanding to accuse them all of being evil people just because their governments did something questionable. It's funny how all the people who claim to be the most loving and understanding are the first ones to call for the discrimination of anyone they don't like. There is no excuse for this. It's no different than deciding to ban all Saudi Arabians after 9/11 or putting Japanese people in internment camps just because of the country they came from. I'm not seeing how the discrimination of russians is any different than those situations.
  10. Yeah that's a pipe dream. People there already don't like putin, but he's corrupt and ruthless. If it were easy to overthrow him, they would have already done it. This will do nothing but harm every day people.
  11. So by paying taxes it means you support every your government does and should be held accountable? what a dumb statement.
  12. You act like this makes it better even though what you are doing is dumb and xenophobic. How does help end the war? It only makes it worse because it raises tensions when you starting hurting every day people who had nothing to do with the war. Fiverr continues to amaze me with their poor management. This also effects non-russian users. I have a very good regular client who is russian and was about to make a big purchase. Now she cannot use the platform causing me to lose lot of income. How this is fair to me as an American?
  13. This is is totally disgusting what you guys are doing. This achieve nothing but harms every day citizens who have nothing to do with this. This is the dumbest thing fiverr has ever done and it effects all of us. Everyone at fiverr should be utterly ashamed of them selves for being such xenophobes who lack clear logic to understand this accomplishes nothing but creates more collateral damage.
  14. Just wanted to post an update since I have gotten TRS since my last post. In my case it took a full year after having met the requirements. I met them in Februrary ad was promoted in January. This also leads to a theory that they just do all the TRS promotions at the beginning of the year. Rather than evaluate things every month. They might just pull together all the people that have met the requirement, then in one motion just promote them all (unless there is an outlier that really shouldn’t have it). I had this theory while waiting for my own promotion and given the timing, of mine, I’m wondering if I was correct. One other thing that leads me to believe this is that it seemed that besides just me, a bunch of new top rated sellers appeared at the same time.
  15. This is the reason I fear I will never get to TRS despite having met the requirements a year ago and now almost doubling them. I’m a very professional person, I know how to communicate clearly, and do this 99% of the time. However, on rare occasions I get some really rude or scam artist clients who instigate and create contentious situations. When a client is trying to scam me, call me a scammer, or insulting me, I think it warrants me fighting back a bit, which I do when a client crosses the line. Part of the reason I feel the need to defend myself is that CS doesn’t always seem to have a history of helping sellers when dealing with problematic buyers. In other words, I don’t think it’s fair to judge a seller based on rare interactions with clearly out of line buyers who are breaking the TOS. Would you be mad at a store owner who yelled at and threw out a customer whom they caught stealing from them? The answer is no.
  16. In the past I have seen bugs with only certain browsers were certain menus didn’t appear and other things like that.
  17. I think it’s ok to reply. I think the key is to not be antagonistic, but to just be honest about what happened. For example, the only negative review I have was from someone who had completed dictated the way they wanted to do things in a way that is not at all typical in my line of work. They were basically doing my job for me with the instructions they gave, then they didn’t even bother to ask for revisions before deciding to have a friend do it. The final product I still feel was of good quality. So in that response, I basically said just that, that the person had given me these specific instructions to essentially copy their own work, then never asked for revisions. What this does is allows other buyers to see the obvious problem with the buyer that ultimately caused the issue and them to leave a negative review.
  18. I don’t quite understand this process either. The lack of transparency is admittedly frustrating. I too met the requirements for TRS almost a year ago and have almost since doubled them. I get nothing but raving 5 star reviews, many of my clients even mentioned having worked with other top rated or pro sellers and finding my work to be far superior. I’m highly educated and experienced in my field. I offer a variety of targeted gigs in my field. Overall, having looked through many other profiles, including top rated and other level 2 sellers, it’s pretty evident to me that I have some of the best quality work and highest level of experience of almost anyone on the platform in my field. So I just don’t really know at this point what else I can do to show that I’m deserving of the TRS badge when I run circles around all or most of their current TRS sellers. Considering the volume of orders and sales I already do, I’m actually surprised they don’t upgrade me for for the sole reason that it would earn them far more money. I successfully charge just as much and sometimes more money than the top rated sellers and still manage to keep a full queue so I would assume it would mathematically be in their best interest to promote people to TRS who are making the most money per order, or who already have a high level of earnings as opposed to people charging far less per order. The TRS badge would simply be a multiplier on what is already a high number by leading to a further increase in sales. I do wish that they would at least tell you why you have not be upgraded so you have the ability to try and fix that issue. I don’t like the not knowing or the feeling that there is one small thing that is forever keeping you from getting TRS that you are unaware of or can’t change.
