They did? I still see them.

They are getting there it seems.

A large segment of the sellers no longer has access to them.

They are still there, but a buyer on Reddit says that part of the UI has disappeared suddenly.

I was frankly surprised to still see BR listed in the new Dashboard menu.

They are probably deprecating the feature gradually. And since the briefs feature is currently not working as expected, I can see them taking longer to figure this part of the marketplace out.

You have no idea how funny that is on several levels.

this reminds me of one of my favorite Arrested Development jokes, where someone kept saying how a new hire “blew everyone” but left out the “away”.

  4. Don't update to iOS 16, as it messes up the Fiverr app.

Specifically, you can't see what you are typing when replying to messages.

UPDATE: Fiverr team is on it, hopefully we’ll get a fix soon.

  5. About where Fiverr stands right now:

    and

    As for future direction:

Remember how everyone occasionally complains about how Fiverr is sort of doomed by its own name and origin and therefore any attempts to pivot towards premium services will always fail?

Remember how I started saying that Fiverr is shifting towards perfecting their match-making vs just serving results à la Google?

    Well, here is Fiverr’s solution

Aren't the private review screens still the same options as before or have they changed them (eg. the options on them) very recently? I didn't think there were any text fields in the current private review screens.

Yes there are no fields, however, Fiverr asks the buyer to rate the quality of the delivery. Twice. Once compared to what they paid for, and once just about the actual quality of the delivery, without taking cost into consideration.

So when a buyer rates the quality of the delivery as "very poor", Fiverr investigates.

When they visit the seller's profile, if their demo images are from an Apple campaign and then the delivery looks like it was meticulously crafted in MS paint by a cat with brain damage, they flag/ban the account.

  7. This is phase 1. That's all I can say.

Fiverr wasn't very open about how they are judging the quality, however, the trigger is manual.

I have been saying it for a long time now: private reviews, people. Public ratings mean nothing.

If your buyer admits in their private review that they received something different than what was advertised, or that they aren't all that happy, but they had a deadline, Fiverr investigates.

Fiverr is cleaning up house. And if sellers hate phase 1, they will definitely don't like phase 2. 🙂

How about someone got a warning from fiverr for breaking TOS, is there any chance that the shadow-ban will be taken off from their profile or it will not be taken off easily. One more thing, is there any that we could do to get back the profile working normally?

It depends on the severity of the case.

If your account was punished for breaking ToS then for a certain amount of time your gigs will probably underperform as your account is not in good standing.

That warning will never be removed from your account but the amount of time your gigs are not served varies depending on the severity of your actions.

The post is very informative @frank_d, I have some questions that you might can answer. What if a seller who was not working actively on fiverr lately, lets say for the past 6 weeks and he/she now started again with their old gigs. Will this help or should they make new gigs to take a new start?

Plus does leveling system helps giverr 3.0 like new seller vs level 1 seller or level 2 sellers.

Thank you, would be very helpful if you could find some time to answer my these questions.

I don't think you need to start over.

By being active again, you will signal Fiverr that you are able to handle orders.

Edits/adjust your gigs, the ones with the most traction so far, to make sure you are still relevant when compared to your vertical and even though it may take a while, you should start seeing some traction again.

Don't edit things over and over. Just once and then see how it goes, give it at least 14 days.

Don't deal with low performing gigs at all. Don't delete them, but no need to edit EVERYTHING, just your top two earners.

This is very interesting to read, and I look forward to learning more about how they change things going forward.

This is not a question really, but I wonder if there would be some designation of why a person requests the revision taken into account. I have some buyers who request a revision with almost every order in order to give themselves more time to assess my work. (I believe they outsource to me and have to get client feedback elsewhere.) I have never seen it from a buyer's side, so I do not know if there are listed reasons why revision occurs.

One of the buttons the buyer can press is “I need more time to review the work”.

Do you know what they are basing the quality of output on? Is it just the public & private review scores and cancellation reasons specified by buyers or are they manually looking through deliveries to judge quality (or both)? Or is it an automated thing (at least in some subcategories) where the system gives a score to work delivered (eg. in the writing category)?

I can't share more information about how they are going about this.

In this early stage, the customer has multiple points where they can declare that what they received was of poor quality.

Once when a delivery is made and they request for a revision, and then once again when a cancellation is initiated.

(My theory is that those flags still count and stack up. So even if you do get to re-deliver a bunch of times and the buyer accepts the delivery, if you keep getting that specific flag raised, it will lead into an investigation. Same goes for cancellations of course.)

Those are manual triggers that casue for an actual investigation, and as a policy accounts under investigation get freezed out until a conclusion is reached.

The new system goes a lot deeper than that, and I am not sure we'll see it implemented any time soon. But it is coming.

  12. There is an initiative that I know for a fact Fiverr is working on, that will essentially draw a line in the sand in terms of who can work on the platform in certain categories.

Said initiative is based on quality of output

I don't know if this is part of it, or if they decided to work on existing accounts that have low quality plus almost zero traction, as the original plan was to create a wall and not allow new sellers in certain catagories without proving they can actually deliver.

I only saw just one post, so not sure if something started happening or if this is actually Fiverr turning on a "purge" switch. Can you link to the other threads, either here on in private?

  13. Hey everyone.

    Just a quick announcement:

Starting today 3 of our fellow members have been promoted to moderators with some additional privileges when compared to regular members.

    @lloydsolutions @imagination7413 And @williambryan392

I nominated these three members to the admin because I feel like they are helpful and can contribute a lot more as mods.

They will now have the ability to move threads to where they belong, and handle some of the flags.

    Welcome aboard!

PM me so I can help you with orientation. 🙂

  14. Welcome to the forum.

You should definitely go to eat at Port Sa ‘id but be prepared to wait 30-40 mins for a table. But it’s 100% worth it.

Also the Bell Boy bar has the most amazing ambiance and cocktails, you need to make a reservation ahead of time.

Also lots of museums downtown (Tel Aviv - Yafo), plus the beach is like 20 minutes away.

Oh I also heard the local flea market is a great attraction but it wasn’t my scene so I didn’t go.

@frank_d Hi frank 🙂 Sorry to tag you on this, but do you happen to know if buyers are able to leave "private" feedback of sorts after a cancelled order?

There is a separate exit survey when an order is canceled through mutual agreement, where they ask you why you wanted to cancel and what exactly happened.

It’s been a while since I had to cancel an order as a buyer so this questionnaire may have been changed, but it does exist still.

I hardly use Fiverr Forum and didn't spend too much times on the forum though. So I couldn't find a way to delete my Fiverr profile from the forum, but I want to keep my Fiverr (as a buyer) account just for purchase gig in the future. But I couldn't find the option to delete my Fiverr profile here. Or, do I have to contact Customer Support?

No need to disable the forum account in my opinion.
