Promoted gigs work for me. A few months before my gigs can be found on the search results easily. But after that, I could not locate my gig in that place. For the last 3 months, 70% of orders came from my old clients, 25% came from Promoted Gigs, and 5% from organic search. (Percentages as per average value) Simply you will pay less but you will get a lot.
@james_smith005 After you publish a new gig, It will be listed under the "Newest Arrivals" category, Then you will get some impressions, clicks and sometimes orders. After a few days or months, it won't anymore be listed under the "Newest Arrivals" category.
I checked your gig named "I will do Kindle Children book cover and book cover designer", As per the gig title, it says "children book cover" But when I saw the gig image, it looked like a bit of horror and it showed a negative feeling. I think you can use a better one instead of those.
