Got Scammed

@eoinfinnegan Agreed. Unfortunately, most new buyers look at the negative rather than the positive. In the case of the forum too many negatives. One of the largest review websites has fiverr at a 3 to1 negative ratio. This also affect sales.

The thing is, those who feel wronged will shout about it. Those who are happy will not.
I have had 4 negative results (all of which were refunded and one seller lost his TRS status because of it) out of a total of 100 or so orders.
That is a better satisfaction rate than the cafe I go to constantly. One in 5 times I am not happy with something there, maybe I am too easy to please but I don’t think so, I think I just know how to use Fiverr and to work with people.

The thread owner didn’t even reply again. I guess he got his money back.

@eoinfinnegan It’s not always good to be so perfect. Many believe the reviews for sellers on fiverr are also fake. As for TRS, we lost our TRS because we reported the truth on this forum about something important. Yet, someone of a lower level reported us @eoinfinnegan, buyers look at reputation, brand and experience over time. Over the past many years, communicating with buyers in advance of a sale is the best way to avoid problems. It also make good business sense so you get to know one another.

I wish I could agree, but there are scammers on the phone, on the internet, knocking on your door, on your TV… Humans all have a capacity for desperation or greed. Buyer beware.

To all: Forum moderators cannot remove your level. For those who don’t know, that’s a myth. If reporting facts on the forum caused people to lose levels, you could tell since factual reporting goes on all the time.
