You Can't Search by Name or Username

Even when it was an option it was terrible. You had to search for their exact username (as opposed to 'Melissa Harlow' or 'Terry Grant') to even have a chance of returning the result you're looking for. I've never understood why it was so poorly implemented, but it's one of like, 100 things I don't understand about this place. 🙂

I don't think you did have to search the exact name (if the * character is used).

Try this, put this URL in the browser, changing the part of the url it mentions to the actual first bit of a username that you want to search for

https : //www.fiverr.com/search/users?query=put_the_first_bit_of_the_username_you_are_searching_for_here*&search_in=everywhere&source=no-results&page=1

remove the spaces in the "https : " bit in the above URL and make it all on one line. Or maybe "search_in=everywhere" should be "search_in=users" in case the other one might find gigs with that text too. Press enter and it should show those results/seller usernames.

eg. changing the part of it to say "query=john*&search_in=everywhere&source=no-results&page=1" or ""query=john*&search_in=users&source=no-results&page=1" would find all sellers whose username starts with "john".

edit: actually if it's got the search/users? bit it probably doesn't need search_in=users bit (that might be okay as search_in=everywhere). I'm not sure what the alternates to that are (eg. maybe it could search other seller fields or maybe it could just be users or gigs).
