I just received a message from buyer that he wants 4-5 designs. What would be the first step? should I send him 1-2 designs or how should I ask the buyer to first buy the gig?

Ask your buyer to place an order OR you can send your buyer a custom offer. But do not do any free work.

If your buyer wants to see your designs first then add watermarks on your designs.
