No,  You need to be an expert in what you do!!!!   If you're honest about your fluency and you can communicate to a reasonable standard then most clients are prepared to overlook this.

Also, what has US residency got to do with being successful online????  There are literally 10000s of freelancers on Fiverr that live outside of the United States and are still awesome a what they do

Throwaway comments like these make you look a little immature and foolish!

What does US Citizenship got to do with whatever you're selling?

 

There are four options to choose your language fluency from better use them rather than lying to your buyer and then losing your trust & also posts like these should be taken down that urge sellers to choose wrong language fluency as they think only selecting fluent will get them orders. smh 🙂

I am not talking about someone who is skilled and works in freelancing. There are people who are professional but can't speak properly with outside heart and can't succeed.
